All the teachers and staff are wonderful role models for the children and show their love and concern for the children every day. The Montessori philosophy is carried out on a daily basis. My son is in his first year in the Early Childhood Program and has progressed in learning and in social skills more than I could have imagined. What he learns in school carries over into what he does at home; including his conversations, use of words, and how he performs tasks to be more independent. My son is excited and smiling every day when he goes to school, and comes out of school smiling and showing us or telling us what he learned in school that day. We are very pleased with our son's progress and are excited about the years ahead at Heritage Montessori.

I'm extremely impressed with both the teachers and staff at Heritage Montessori, as well as how they carry out the Montessori teaching method. My son is in his first year in the Stepping Stones program, and it does wonders for him. I notice such a difference in him on the weeks when we've had a break from school, it is clear that he benefits greatly from the time that he spends there. Not only do I feel like he's being stimulated in the learning environment, but I can see he's already gaining tremendous social skills. And I must emphasize again, that I can't say enough about the teachers and staff, they are extremely dedicated to the children, as well as the parents. I'm looking forward to my son starting the Early Childhood program this fall.

While my daughter has been here for two years, I am now considering taking her to another school. The problem is that the school tries to make you as a family and involve the parents in all of their problems and activities. I would rather that the school does what it should do, which is focus on teaching my child, and keep all of their other problems to themselves. I don't understand why we as parents should be bothered about their financial problems. For sure, we're not receiving any financial gain by doing so.

From the first day my son started at Heritage we have felt like part of the school's family. This sense of community is echoed through the support of the staff and teachers who have pushed through adversity with love and caring for the students. The school embraces the Montessori philosophy and as a result the academic success of the students is widely apparent. My son looks forward to learning and has blossomed at Heritage. Thanks to all the wonderful teachers and staff!

My child is on her 3rd year at this school and we have been very pleased with her progress. She learns at the pace that is right for her which makes the knowledge she gains as a stock knowledge that she applies in practical everyday situations versus just learning it in school and forgetting about it. She is a very happy well rounded 1st grader, thanks to the Montessori system.

My son is in his 2nd year at Heritage Montessori and I couldn't be more pleased. He had a hard time transitioning to school after I went back to work but quickly adapted and I contribute that to the great care he received. He couldn't stop talking about his favorite teacher and there was a noticeable difference in his behavior and independence, for the better. I've done quite extensive research on the Montessori method and I find that the materials and teachers fall right in line with Maria Montessori's philosophy. My son's math skills are beyond what is typical for his age and I know that's largely in part of the math materials provided and the encouraged self pace. It has a great family feel and they put in a lot of effort to support the little community they have there. I look forward to the family nights!

I'm very grateful for having found Heritage Montessori. It's done wonders for my son. I feel confident knowing he is in good hands when I drop him off and he looks forward to attending each day. The teachers and staff have always been extremely helpful and responsive to any concerns and communicate well regularly.

My son is in his second year at Heritage Montessori. School. Last year he was in the stepping stones program and I could see amazing changes in him from just two hours a day. This year he attends the early childhood program from 9-3 and this has been so worth it. There is so much value in the educational process that I think it is worth every penny we have spent. All of the teachers that my son interacts with (Mrs. Smith & Miss Yvonne, Miss Beth & Miss Renee, Dr. Joyce, Nancy, Melodie) have been genuinely kind and loving while truly educating my son. I see him grow spiritualy, emotionally, and intellectually much more often than my other child who is in public school. He has learned to love learning which is truly a gift that will stay with him forever!

This is our first year at Heritage Montessori. Our oldest daughter is in one of the Early Childhood classrooms and loves every minute of it! We have seen amazing changes from her in the short time since she began her Montessori education. From cleaning up after herself to conflict resolution to learning patience and how to wait her turn, our daughter, who was always a "good" child, is better than before and we have the wonderful teachers and staff at Heritage Montessori to thank! We plan on enrolling our son in the fall as well. We recommend this school to anyone who wants their child to learn skills to help them be a good person in addition to the foundation to be a good student.

Although the staff is well-trained and appears to really love the children, their dedication has its limits. As long as you pay them well, you will get their best. Their actions are not always in line with Maria Montessori's vision for families, which values every individual and encourages success for everyone, despite their financial status.

We have been a long-term family member at Heritage. We believe in the Montessori educational philosophy and have greatly benefited from its academic approach. Our child has benefited greatly from all his teachers beginning with his pre-school years to his elementary years.

I have two kids going to this school and the teachers are so loving and supportive. My kids have really flourished. My daughter had a tendency towards being shy and this environment really helped her to learn to be more out-going. My son is inflexible and can be very difficult, the teachers and staff just treated him with such patience and loving and eventually he too learned how to manage and be more flexible. It's a great school and community.

I am a long term parent at Heritage and have been extremely happy with the experience my children have had. This is a school that truly puts children first and has given my children an education far beyond academics alone. I definitely recommend that parents pay a visit to judge for yourself!

My son has only been at the school a couple of years, but he will not be returning in the Fall. The so-called library is a meagre collection of books kept in the small office area of the school. Specials like music and Spanish are only available if you enroll your child for the full-day program. Staff has come and gone throughout the last two years and we've been unable to get a clear answer why. It makes our son upset and us worried because he is bonding with people and then they are leaving. Communication is awful and condescending. I agree with other reviews that attitude changes drastically when the administration finds out you aren't coming back. And the positive review sounds like someone in the administration wrote it. I agree- stay away.

My children attended this school for ten years under its previous direction and we were thrilled. When the former owner passed away, things quickly deteriorated. Our concerns were not adequately addressed. Administration was unresponsive to serious issues and condescending at best. We are now at another Montessori school and can not believe the difference in quality and atmosphere. We would give the current school less than zero if possible. DO NOT associate 'Montessori Education' with this school or you will misunderstand the philosophy and its intentions. Stay away.
