We have had very positive experience at Salem Elementary! We love our teachers and staff, and we are very happy with our experience there!

Extremely good management and teachers. I used to drop my kindergartener everyday and the principal, management used to greet me everyday morning and even helps the kids by opening the car doors. They are really humble and polite. My kid complained me about other kids making fun of him about his colour. I have taken the issue to the class teacher and within 2 hours the principal gave me a call asking more information about it and also have taken necessary precautions to get rid of this kind of thoughts in the kids. Not everything is taught in school. Parents play an important part in bringing up their kids. I would need a bit change in the total education system here not this particular school. I need them to give some kind of homework to be returned back to school. That way kids will focus on studying and also hand writing. Good manners can’t be learned only at school, they need to be practiced at home as well.

Salem Elementary is an outstanding school. The staff is wonderful from the office personnel, the cafeteria staff to the teaching staff. My daughter has attended 4 different schools in the past 4 years due to relocations for my husband's job. This school is by far the most welcoming and exceptional of all the schools my daughter has attended thus far. The staff has gone out of their way to answer questions and make our family feel welcome. The education our daughter is receiving is excellent and enjoyable for our daughter. My husband and I can not say enough good things about Salem Elementary.

Salem Elementary is a Excellent school and frankly I take offense to some of the postings listed, specify one referring to children playing out in the stench of the landfill. The land fill is more than a mile away from our school and I suppose all the $600K plus home within a 1/4 of mile from the landfill are not worth the land they are built on. My point is, unless you can back up your comments, keep them to yourself! Salem my not be the newest school in the district but it most definitely has the most caring and supportive staff. Salem is a smaller school but along with the smaller size comes the special one on one attention our children deserve. This is the kind of school where the principal knows every student and their family by name. I am proud to send my children to Salem.

Great School my son attended K-5 at Salem. He is doing very well at the Middle School this year. The teachers at Salem prepared him well. They are caring and know each child by name.
