I should have written this review sooner, but life moved too fast. My daughter attended St. Mary's from 2nd-5th grade after leaving another private school. We had the best 4 years there and I couldn't be happier with how our experience went! Some of her teachers are no longer there unfortunately, but I owe it to them for their dedication and loving work. My daughter is now in 11th grade and she often wonders what happened to some old friends and her teachers. The schools focus on education and of course religion was why I choose them. We are not members of the church there, but my beliefs aligned and I loved how welcoming they were. Highly recommend!

St Mary is an amazing school, my kids have been going there since they were 2 years old and I can’t recommend it enough. The teachers are wonderful and pay close attention to all the children, they are always there to answer my questions and address my concerns and they pour they hearts and souls into teaching the children. My kids are learning so much more than other children their age. My son can read in Tk and my daughter does double digit math in first grade and she can read level three.I can’t recommend Saint Mary enough!!

Words can't express the neglection and ignorance that my toddler and me have seen,they saw him crying he saw me and he wanted to come out to me they locked the door on him so he wouldn't come out he started crying while the other teacher was inside with the class and him she totally ignored him and continues teaching the class as if he doesn't exist while the other teacher smilling at him as he is crying totally cruel and ,didn't expect this treatment from Christian Orthodox school ,iam member of the church as well ,and for safety gate open and nobody watching the kids and if they run they accuse them of harmin themselves while the gate is the school fault not to monitor it and leave it open when landscaping comes.

My son Daniel went to St. Mary Coptic Orthodox School. He really enjoyed going to school every day. He particularly enjoyed his teachers. My son received a lot of attention from his teachers. I loved the school because they are excellent academically and spiritually which was very important to my family. I would recommend St. Mary Coptic Orthodox School to every parent.

If you are looking for a great small class with individual teaching for your child this is the school for you. Both my girls went there. It gave them strong bases in math and reading. The teachers are carrying, Christian base philosophy. I work at a middle school and all the students we get from St. Mary the do so well! This school has no bullying and everyone is so nice it’s like a healthy family.

I love this school and I recommend it for any parents planning for their kids or trying to find best school for them because Saint Mary school teaches them more than you would expect; not only about the grade curriculum, but students also learn a lot of manners humanity, responsibility and many many more.

We were blessed to have been a part of St Mary school family. My two daughters started St Mary school when they were 2 1/2 years old. They both stayed there until they graduated fifth grade. What we loved about St Mary school is the Christian values they follow in their teachings. The small number of classes that allow for individual attention for every student. The care and love their teachers show everyday to the students. The wisdom and professionalism portrayed by the principal and the board. We would recommend St Mary School to everyone that is looking for a professional Christian with top notch education

My son has been at St. Mary's since he was 2 years old, he is 4 now. The growth that I have seen in him academically, socially and spiritually is amazing. He comes home and talks about what he learned in his weekly Bible class and is so excited! It's so important to me that my child knows our faith and that's why I love this school so much. Not to ignore academics - he already knows how to write his name (he has a very long name) and has began to recognize words. The teachers are so attentive, class ratio is very small (5:1) and staff are so kind and loving that it feels like a family. I would recommend St. Mary's for anyone with children preschool - 5th grade. Also, it's the most affordable school I have found in the San Fernando Valley area.

My child has been with Saint Mary School since she was 2 years old. We have had nothing but wonderful experiences at all grade levels. The teachers make it a point to provide the right level of care to each child while enriching their minds with the appropriate level of education for their age. When my child was excelling academically, they made a point to place her appropriately in the right level. We will continue with our journey with Saint Mary school. I can’t imagine a better school where you raise them in a Christian environment while receiving the necessary education.

After looking at several Christian school for our daughter, the minute we stepped onto St. Mary’s campus we knew this was the school for us. It’s small classroom size allows the teachers to really give that one on one attention and our daughter is thriving. She began in TK and is now in Kindergarten and is performing well above her grade level. The faculty is helpful and friendly and their tuition is reasonable. We highly recommend St. Mary Christian School.

As a speech-language pathologist and a mother, I wanted to send my son to a school where he could build a solid education foundation. Sending my son to St.Mary school was the best decision I made. St.Mary school provided a safe and stimulating environment where he was challenged academically, nourished spiritually (fostering core Christian values), and encouraged by motivated and dedicated faculty who inspired a supportive and loving learning environment. St.Mary school’s small class size provided my son individualized academic attention and multiple opportunities to develop educationally, socially, and physically. St.Mary School has my highest recommendation.

Great school,wonderful caring teachers. Each child gets individual care because of the size of the classrooms.Instills Christian values in the kids while giving them a great academic skills.The communication with the teachers is easy and encouraged. I definitely recommend this school to all my friends and to all that ask about a elementary school.

I wish I could sing this school’s praises, but after the third week, I pulled my kids out of the preschool due to their inability to communicate effectively and their preferential treatment to members of their church. My children didn’t thrive in the setting they have set up. After consistently moaning that my child’s tears in class are “scaring” the other children without even giving him the chance to acclimate (after a 5-month long lockdown at home and a brand new environment) I realized that this school wants your children to be cookie-cutter and they don’t want to accommodate common toddler tears. I hesitate to believe that this preschool has equipped its teachers with the proper childhood instruction methodologies. It’s a preschool, not elementary for crying out loud. Kids need to get out and play and express themselves. They fall, they cry, they take off their masks to breathe, they may resist a nap. The fact that my child wasn’t given a chance before being stigmatized as “needing assessment” (after we already had him assessed last year) saddens me to no end. I would’ve preferred to write a nice review, but St. Mary left a poor taste in my mouth.

St. Mary's is an excellent school and I would highly recommend it. I found this school by chance seven years ago at a time when I needed to find daycare for my 2-1/2 year old grandson. Since then, I have been so extremely grateful to God for leading us to such a wonderful school. Due to the wonderful teachers and leadership of the school, I feel that they are part of my family and I will truly miss them when my grandson moves on to middle school.
