I went to this school for the 7th grade last year, I would say it’s not the best school to go to. There was always shootings nearby, even behind the school. Some of the kids even carried weapons around around the school and threatened others. If you don’t look or act a certain way there’s a high chance you or you kid will be bullied. The staff here were really supportive, if you were having a problem with other students, teachers, and stuff just in general they are most likely to support you and help you out. Teacher’s were not the best, most of them are good at teaching and explain well. A couple of the teachers didn’t teach you and you were able to be on your phone, call people, watch movies, eat in class, and the teacher would tell you to be quiet so that the other teachers next door wouldn’t tell someone else, they would also tell us we couldn’t tell another teacher.I wouldn’t go to this school again if I could.

I am forever grateful for the experience we had with this school. It will take a couple of years for the ratings and test scores to go up since this upcoming 2018 -2019 will only be the second year since Richard Ramos took over. Mark my words, this school should not be overlooked. Driving by the school the first thing you will notice is how beautiful the school grounds are. How well kept. There have a huge auditorium separate from the school gym. Which by the way has everything one could want in a gym including good equipment and a massive rock climbing wall. The science department has a large interactive marine aquarium in one of the classrooms. Thats right, an aquarium! With sharks and rays and all kinds of marine life. It is unlike anything I have ever seen.

This school was phenomenal. Our girl found a new meaning for learning. She always looked forward to going and hated her days off away from her teachers and friends.

my child has attended this school for 3yrs. Her 6th and 7th grade years i was satisfied with the teachers and administration. This year the whole dynamic of the school has changed. The staff seems to be very unhappy, school caters to only the hispanic population, theres no disciplinary action, students arent held responsible for their actions, etc. Teachers here are not the problem, its administration and their lack of support. I would not recommend sending your child to this school

This school is and excellent school for all students to learn and become productive members of society. Teachers and other staff are always working to improve the quality of their teaching and ensure that students achieve their best potential.

Teachers are supportive of each other and work together to make the campus a better place. Students seem to enjoy coming to school and to like their electives and teachers. My experience has been an overall positive one.

I give it a 10, because it has great programs for the students and very informative parent workshops too.

My niece attended Northridge Middle School for the year she was living with me. If I had it to do all over again, I would not have enrolled her there. The teachers were very nice. I believe the teachers and staff do what they can with the resources and money they have, however, it's not enough. My niece had transferred from an out of state school---an average one at that---and was completely bored and unchallenged at NMS. Part of this is not the schools fault. Most of the student body is ESL. Because of this curriculum pace is is held back considerably. My niece was learning things in 8th grade that her prior school had taught her in 6th. There are little to no extracurriculars. Again, because of lack of funding there are no arts, almost no girls sports, etc. This school is in desperate need of some attention from the state. The children attending here deserve a better education and school-life than they are offered now.

Northridge is an improvement school and it does need improvement. good luck if you have a child in special ed, they totally want to violate your rights in every possible way. Thumbs down for the administrators
