Both of our daughters love it here. They enjoy going to school everyday. They have experienced special bonds with all of their teachers. We are thrilled with their education. Their teachers work hard to hold the students accountable and push them to be their best.

The whole environment at the school is wonderful. Everything works together from the great peer group, the dedicated teachers and the supportive environment. We could not be happier.

Amazing team of teachers who all support the children. This not only my daughters school but also part of our family. It takes a village to raise a great kid! I highly recommend this school. Cynthia U.

We've had a great experience as parents of a student who attends St. Bernadette. Its a great environment with caring teachers and a high focus on academic excellence. It is a Blue Ribbon school.

St. Bernadette is a wonderful school. I have both my children going here since Kindergarten. They are in middle school now. We have had nothing but positive experience throughout. Starting from school leadership to staff, everybody is always ready to help with a smile. We are extremely happy with the school.

Teacher turnover is high because teachers do not need the same qualifications as those teaching public school. They do not even need a degree in education.

2014 National Blue Ribbon School. The school just received this award from the Department of Education. The teachers and staff are wonderful. I highly recommend St. Bernadette School!

My son has had the most wonderful 2 years in the Preschool Program. The teachers were kind, caring, patient, and attentive to all the children in their class. We were amazed at how much our son learned! Not only did he learn his abc's and 123's, but the foundation of morals and values that is being built is second to none! My son has been waiting patiently for 2 years to walk down the hall to Kindergarten, and the time can't come soon enough! We have heard, and seen, the wonderful things that are being done in the Kindergarten classrooms and are excited to experience it first hand! All the Kindergarten teachers could not be more kind, considerate, and professional in their everyday dealings with children and parents. Thank you to the entire Saint Bernadette community, especially the ECC faculty, for welcoming us with open arms. We just know we will be at home here for many years!

I am a parent at Saint Bernadette School for 3 years. I have 3 children at the school and my youngest just graduated from the Kindergarten program! I have met so many lovely teachers and parents this year who are now some of my dearest friends:) My children love it and are all thriving here!!! It is sad to read so many nasty, mean and negative comments from someone who it may just not have been the perfect fit!! It's been 3 years for us and have never heard a negative word before this! If you are looking for a Catholic school please come tour Saint Bernadette....trust me you will LOVE it!!!

I have had children at this school for 7 years and spend a great deal of time there myself, helping and working. The environment is Christian and loving, the academics very high compared to what we experienced in public school. Clearly the 2 negative posts are by the same individual. I am aware of some who did not take advantage of what the school has to offer. There are always those who will attempt to spread misery wherever they go. St. Bernadette School teaches kindness and compassion, love and forgiveness. In any event, consider the reviews but make your own decision. Go to the school, observe, ask questions and see for yourself. Talk to people you know and trust. Look at the children in the classrooms: they are happy and challenged. Incidentally, the overview listed on this site indicates that the school has 40 children; that must be a typo. The school serves over 500 students and just graduated over 40 8th graders to go on to high school. Find out for yourself - it is a wonderful place.

If you are considering this school my sincere advice as a Christian is to Please research other options!.. We had the MOST horrible year!! Awful!!! To say the least... I wanted my children to be surrounded by people of FAITH. What I got was the whole opposite. Extremely Deceiving place. Academically not at all challenging . If your child is smart he/she will be bored out of their minds. Good Luck and God Bless! I would had given no stars if I had the option...

I am a proud parent of a child who has attended this school from pre k 3 to grade 3. Our son loves his school and we couldn't be happier. The school has security in place which is very reassuring to us. We feel that our child is being challenged and has had top- notch teachers. They are approachable, kind, and professional.

St Bernadettes I am a grandparent whose 5 grandchildren are attending St. Bernadettes. The youngest has just graduated from kindergarden and I cannot say enough about the wonderful caring teachers my grandchildren have had over the years. The quality of education is is wonderful. They have learned and are learning valuable lessons along the way whether they are academic or moral. The education here is superior.

As a father who wasn't convinced of anything other than public school I have to say I am 100% convinced now. We started many years ago with our oldest and now all of our children attend. This school has been a blessing. My children have learned and grown so much. They have made life long friendships and are happy here. My daughters had some struggles but with the care and guidance of the superb teachers they have overcome those struggles. The teachers have gone out of their way to cater to my children's individuals needs and learning styles. They realize that every child is different and learns differently and make accommodations accordingly. I am blessed that my children are in such a loving, nurturing environment. Thank you St. Bernadette!

LOVE this school. My children have been attending this school for 6 years now. They started in the PreK and we have been extremely happy with the curriculum and staff. They teachers are second to none. They are so caring and take time for each and every student. They are dedicated and go over and beyond their call of duty. I can't say enough positive things about this school and the staff. A couple of my children attended other schools in the area and nothing, by far, can compare to this school. Not only that but the parents are wonderful as well. It is a community of involved, caring people, which is wonderful to see in this day and age.

Two years ago I had never even heard of this school, and now it is my family's most important focus. I had been fearful of my town's neighborhood elementary school and wanted something more for my two children. Academics are important, but so are qualities such as kindness, empathy, respect and character. I have found all of these and more amongst this amazing community of faculty, staff and parents. Amazing things happen when students feel safe and cherished. Additionally, the academics are outstanding. They are rigorous, challenging, appropriate and on par with the top private institutions in the area. My family strives now to do what we can to ensure the school remains a success and that new families gain insight into the spectacular experience that is Saint Bernadette.

I had been a parent at this school for 12 years. I have had 4 children go through and graduate 8th grade. They all were very well prepared for high school. They attend private high schools and entered at the honors level. People upset about not be able to walk into a classroom without an appointment are the same parents who would complain if a parent took the teacher away from their child during instruction time. Safety is of the utmost importance to the teachers, from Pk thru 8th. In todays world you can not allow parents to walk thru a school without first checking in with the office. It is unfair to criticize a school for protecting all students. How would these parents like to have someone unannounced, without an appointment go into their place of work and demand a meeting. Some parents have problems accepting that their child is one of many who attend the school. Rules apply to all for the safety of all. This is a very good and safe school with very professional and caring faculty and staff. I could not have sent my children to a better school. I recommend it to everyone.

Poorly run school. Academics are well below standards. The principal is not at all involved and has a "who cares" attitude. Our kids got straight A's and Bored out of their minds, which were not learning anything new. We found another Catholic school with great staff and challenging academics. Look around this school is great for the slow or behind student, not for the bright or child that wants to be inspired.. Horrible waste of money, Which is all they seem to care about $$
