This school is good for learning, but besides that, its lacks a lot of stuff. I got into big trouble for something that people do to me everyday. The staff get the wrong people into trouble, and it looks like they care too much about the students well-being. The staff also "bullied" me into believing that there is more than 2 genders.

The school is not too bad but the actions that are taken by the school aren't harsh enough for more serous offenses. Some students in my class this year have experienced sexual harassment from a single student and little has been done to fix the problem.

The school is OK, but I would like it to be redone so it doesn't look like a prison anymore.

didn’t really like it. the students were ok, i had some good friends. But the staff, particularly the office just sucked. they were really rude and mean. the guidance didn’t help anyone at all. the principal didn’t like most students; wasn’t friendly. the office ladies didn’t care much about you

I love melican because the teachers are really nice and helpful. They help us a lot by having afterschool days. We get a lot of support here and everyone is so nice to eachother, A very friendly environment. The academics here is advanced and make the transition to high school easy for us. I think I improved a lot after coming to this school

I am a student at MMS, and I LOVE it. I came from a private-catholic elementary school, and I hated it there. This place is so supportive, and every kid is on an even playing field. Also, I noticed a review saying ADD kids were being discriminated against- I have ADD, and everything has been wonderful here. I was immediately welcomed by students, and the academics are MORE advanced than the average private school. My experience has been perfect here. 5 stars.

This school is fine if your kid does not have any issues. If your child has issues like ADD, the teachers and administration are just terribly unsupportive and unhelpful. They say all the right things but there is absolutely nothing beneath what they profess. The teachers are stressed and some just downright mean and impatient, since they appear to be teaching to the MCAS exams only. This is also a very clickie environment which is extremely difficult for kids who are a little out of the box. Overall a horrible experience. My child now attends another school, which has worked out well.
