This school is not only teaching my kid to be better academically, but teaching them to care about others. Bullying is NOT tolerated at this school so if your kid is doing something bad, they will get called to the office. Unlike other schools that let kids get away with poor behavior. As far as amazing learning trips. The School has an all expense paid trip to Washington DC for the kids to learn about our state legislatures, and they had a blast! Not many schools will do this for the kids to have fun and learn. This is a great school. Don’t let the bad apples spoil the bunch.

My daughter has been assaulted the first week of school by another student during lunch . This is her first year there and she has already been a fight she did not start. She was excited about starting middle school and her experience so far has been unsafe and heartbreakingThe principal and staff down play my child being assaulted. I will have to take further action if the school can not handle the situation by getting the authorities involve.

I’m an 8th grader here, and I can’t wait to get out. Middle school is hard enough, but this school makes it 10x worse. There have been multiple incidents in the last 3 years I’ve been here, causing me and my friends emotional distress and trauma. They’ve been emotionally attacking a good friend of mine recently, and to make matters worse it was the psychologists causing this. We’ve been good students, not getting involved in fights, and yet they still ostracize and discriminate, completely ignoring the 3 Rs that they are constantly stressing. The principal is useless, and so are the support staff. There is no sense of safety or welcoming environments. It’s frustrating, ridiculous, and downright wrong. I can’t wait till June rolls around and I’m out of here. 1 out of 5, 0 if I could. Do not recommend

My child is thriving at this school, lots of friends and activities, and they have a PTA engagement meeting so the parents can be involved also. They helped my kid score higher on his test scores.

The school is terrible. There are fights, police, and some terrible teachers. a knife was brought into the school and there were 2 fights in one day. the school year literally just started and there’s been over 8 fights. DON’T GO HERE FIND A BETTER SCHOOL FOR YOUR SAFETY PLEASE!!!!

Bullying and violence is a SERIOUS problem here and getting worse every day. Multiple fights break out EVERY DAY, children are not disciplined for their behavior, there is no accountability, staff and administration try to downplay issues and do nothing to protect the victims of this brutal atmosphere. The school is incredibly unsafe and we are in constant fear for our child's safety.

This school is failing! The principal and administrators are not good at their jobs! Students fight everyday, there is no disciplines, getting worse and worse every year!

This is by far the worst school in long island. Fights between students are happening almost everyday. Police have been called many times. The safety of students is a big issue here. The school staff only care about how to protect themselves.

My son is new in this school and he’s thriving! This school is very diverse so racism is definitely not an issue. I don’t understand the bad reviews

The teachers are nice, but in terms of safety?forget it. They don’t clarify whether it’s a drill or not, fights happen all the time, AUTHORITIES HAVE CAME ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS..I can’t wait till it’s summer and I don’t have to see this place for 3 months. Do not recommend

Would not recommend. Very dangerous school right now, and fights are almost constant. The school feels unsafe.

Let me just say it. This is not a safe place. Fights are happening nearly every day. The police needed to be called yesterday.

Multiple fights in the school at the moment. There's so many that people are pre-planning fights before they even happen. Not very safe right now.

Stay away from north Babylon. Bullying is a big issue in this school. The administrative staff does not take bullying serious and does not defend the children of their school. The only way for them to actually take action is to fill out a dasa form. They will give you every excuse in the book as to why they can’t do much tell you they spoke to children and conveniently forget student complaints to them. If your in this school and your child has an issue tell your child to email the dean and keep everything documented in their student email. If there is any way for them to copy you on the email or forward it then do that. If you can’t and your child tells you have them print the email at home. My child was bullied for a year and a half before action was taken.
