This is the type of school every parent dreams of for their child . This close knit school is not only above and beyond in the way they care for your child but their teachers are a true testament to what a REAL teacher should be . This school prides themselves on being current with new technology and their teachers have such a way in their delivery of the school lessons . Mrs. Maresca and Mrs. Sussman set the bar quite high ! And lastly , I can't get over the parental participation in so many school events - their enthusiasm to give not only their child but other children around them such great memories - is truly special . This amazing school and it's teachers is a reflection of it's principal - Ms. Jackson . She is not only extremely competent and highly effective in her position but you can see it in her face -as she greets the children getting off the school buses in the morning with her big smile - that she truly loves what she does . It doesn't get better than that - it truly takes a village to raise a child and I'm glad my daughter is part of Belmont Elementary !

My daughter is in the 3rd grade and has attended BE since Kindergarten. She absolutely LOVES it, as do I. Every teacher of every grade knows every student. We are treated like family. It's a pleasure to send your child to school knowing that they're not only safe but enjoying the learning process. Mrs. Jackson is a literal gift from God.

This school is amazing. I went there as a child. My mother also went there as a child. My daughter started Kindergarten there this year. Her teachers are amazing and top notch! My daughter just completed her 50th day of kindergarten and is reading! Amazing! The principal, Mrs. Jackson is great. So kind and friendly. I love this school and this district..

My daughter is thriving at this school. She finished kindergarten reading & doing math which included simple algebra & basic geometry concepts

Belmont is a great family. My children feel safe here. They work hard and participate in many different activities. It is in a great community.

I am extremely pleased with the education in the school. I have a son who went there for grade school and one has now entered this year. North Babylon is a great community. The principal has been doing wonderfully.They provide a good foundation for what's to come in our children's future education!!

This is my fourth year in this school, and currently have two children attending. Have found this school to be a great environment both educationally and emotionally for my children. Principal is doing a great job, many parents are involved with the PTA, there is a really strong sense of community. Like another reviewer said, cannot get everything right every time, but my personal experiences have always been extremely positive.

Having just completed kindergarten at Belmont our son is looking forward to 1st grade. We also have a 5-yr old daugter that will enter this fall as a kindergartener and she too is looking forward to attending. As a PTA mom I have seen that the principal is very involved in all the activities as well as being very caring towards the students. The teachers are good and the PTA is great. Our son is reading books on his own and loves school. It seems to me that some parents are unrealistic in their expectations of teachers. We as the parents are mostly responsible for how much and how well our children learn; teachers are our reinforcements. I truly believe that this is a great school and the principal and staff are doing an amazing job.
