Overall, very poor. Although the school's web site advertises "At Dearborn Academy, we believe that every student in our care deserves the respect and freedom to explore their emotions and behavior without fear of judgment.", this advertisement is not practiced by the leadership at the school. Parents thinking of sending their child to Dearborn should be wary and not accept the school's messages on their web site as being truthful. I would not recommend this school to others.

They meet the needs of every child uniquely with full support both emotionally and academically. Communication between school staff and parents is remarkable. Weekly prosser updates given via mail and a phone call. Most hands on school I've ever worked with.

i thought this school was a perfect fit for my daughter and it has proven me wrong. i have never thought my daughters behavior would've gotten worse. right now she is a junior and depressed and resentful because she is in this school. Parents choose wisely and be aware of how your child feels about attending a school far away from home! it will effect your child.
