Clearway has been a godsend for my middle schooler who is on the spectrum and has other special needs. The small-school environment, carefully selected peers with compatible profiles, and patient and kind teachers with special education certifications and experience and many of whom have been at Clearway for a long time, have combined to make school an incredibly positive experience for her. After years of feeling misunderstood and falling behind at learning because her emotional needs were not being addressed, she is enjoying school again and learning. And with Clearway's careful attention to teaching life skills, helping students discern their future path, and transition planning, we are hopeful for her future. We are so grateful we found Clearway!

Clearway changed my child's life. The staff cares about all of the students and their families. They individualize the course work and expectations based on the child's needs, while at the same time making sure all the students are involved and active in the school community setting. My son started Clearway after years bouncing through multiple schools. His severe reading disability had stopped him from making any real progress in school. The school he attended previous to Clearway (also an out of district school ]) said the goal was for my child to be able to read a menu. When he graduated from Clearway he could read books and keep up with subtitles while watching a movie. his disabilities will be a life long struggle, but without Clearway he would not of had the scaffolding to learn and be successful. My son and I will be forever grateful to Clearway for giving him a chance to attend and succeed.

Each and every staff member at this school puts their heart and soul into each and every child. Our child has never had a better year and made so much progress both academically and socially.

The worst thing that’s happened to me and my friend. This school likes to take the sides of boys when inappropriat actions take place. This school is very anti-therapeutic. Yes I know it’s not a therapeutic school but they have no respect for having a hard time emotionally. So overall I’d never recommend this school to anyone if your teenager has any need for a therapeutic setting. Also the academics are very unperonalized and they do not put students up to they’re full potential.

I went to Clearway from 2003-2005, and graduated from the school. While enrolled, Clearway's dedicated staff helped me develop the skills I needed to succeed academically. These are the same skills and strategies I still use in my professional practice.

Great school with amazing teachers! I graduated 15 years ago and if it weren't for the teachers there encouraging me to do my best I couldn't have gotten where I am in life.

This school is great for students like myself. The academic mentor system really works well for me. If a class is too easy or too hard I can go to my mentor and the problem will be fixed within days. The students are very kind and supportive, truly refreshing change from those at public schools. Teachers are incredibly attentive of each students needs and cater to each learning style. The school is very small, which is great, but sometimes feels too small. Great classes, inovative teachers, supportive students. Definitely worth a look.

This school is a horrible school. They prepare you for nothing at this school. What they do is give you the book and tell you "here learn it yourself." When it comes to college prep they also do absolutely nothing for you. They told me I would be prepared for the amount of work I would experience in college but I ended up dropping out. This school ruined my life.
