This is a fantastic place for students to grow.

My child has attended 5 years here and we have had nothing but wonderful experiences. Jen Bailey has been a great principle and so much better than the previous 2! My child has also had amazing teachers all 5 years. As far as learning differences, I believe the teachers and staff go above and beyond.

Horrible school if your child is autistic or has mental health issues. Bullied by teachers and students. Staff does not know how to deeculate a situation once they have triggered the child. Targeting "problem child" when issues happen even if they are not the ones who caused the issue. Staff memeber was talking to my child last week and somehow accidentally said shit to him. So cussing whether or not on purpose to a student and bullying is not ok.

Not a good school. At lunch time they tell the kids to not talk and put their heads down when done with lunch. Kids need to talk to each other, they need a place they can make noise. The Christmas program was horrible, the kids did not get to stand up and sing, I have been too many programs and have never seen one like this. The teachers sang, the principle sang, a teacher with her grown up daughter sang. Where are the kids singing? The last performance was the principle singing, before she sang she told the kids to be quite. Kindergarteners and grades one through 3 had to sit on the floor and watch. They were told several times to be quite. This not a kids Christmas program!

I don't like this school at all. New Principle is joke. Its a 50/50 chance for your child getting a good teacher.

I love this school! The teachers and administration strive to know each student's name, whether or not they are in their class, and genuinely care about them. One of my children has special needs and is thriving in school, largely because of the teaching that he received from his teachers and LRC staff. Starting in kindergarten on up, the teachers work hard to create a cooperative and understanding atmosphere among the students using rock, paper, scissors to resolve simple turn taking questions, to using language like "my friend, Sally...". The foundation that this caring staff lays lasts long beyond the short time they are here.

We miss this school! We had 2 kids attend JAE for their elementary years and had a great experience. The teachers are kind and try to keep the students motivated and engaged. They could use more parent and community volunteers!

Wonderful school, have had a great experience being there. The principal, Mrs. Mac, is bringing so many positive changes! The teachers are amazing, and working so hard to teach in away that keeps the children interested. I hesitate to mention the office ladies, as so many already have, but seriously, they are doing the work of 4 people, while smiling (and keeping me smiling) the entire time!! Love JA!

Joan Austin.......... yes the ladies in the office are amazing!! To bad they are not teaching our kids! The classes are way to big, and the teachers lack communication!!!! Lrc, and school counselors are great! Teachers eh.......

What do I love about this school? The secretaries!!! Gotta confess I have a crush on one of them. However she is also extremely helpful and kind to the children.
