I can't recommend Blessed Sacrament school and staff enough! If my granddaughter needs personal attention, the teacher/s are always available for her. Also, any kind of issue that you might have...all you have to do is ask the staff member and they will work with parents & students. I love the school's "open-door" policy! All staff members respond professionally and kindly ... no matter the reason. Mr. Caton and School office staff (Katie) are "amazing" with my child. There is always care and attentiveness. The school curriculum is also "top-notch" ... teaching ahead of public schools in their area! And because of the class sizes...personal attention is abundant. The "positive" difference in my granddaughter ... in just one year's time ... is fantastic. (She knows if shes has a problem or concern that she can trust she will be assisted immediately.) We are ready for year 2 for her and Jr High!I love the safety policy of this school system. I know that "all" outside assistance/volunteer/s that enter her building will have background checks run and classes on child safety and predator warning signs. A true piece of mind!

When I fist sent my child to this school I was satisfied with my choice, however as the years went on, I began to see how far behind they seemed to be academically, and realized how much time I was personally spending instructing my child on the subject manner. I began to wonder what exactly I was paying for, as the teachers seemed to not be doing their jobs. As my child got into the upper grades and I watched the enrollment dwindle, I realized that academically this wasn't a good fit for them. Then, with the addition of Principal Caton and his inability to adequately discharge his duties in an independent and unbiased manner as well as his encouragement of an environment where bullying of others is accepted and rewarded, I knew it was time to sever ties with this school and to send my child to public school. This is one of the best decisions I have made. My child is now in a respectful environment where the children are kind to one another, the teachers have advanced degrees and are certified to teach, and the administrators are fair and competent. Sadly, this is what I expected out of a Catholic School for which I was paying tuition, but, instead, am finding it in the public schools.
