We had a terrible experience at this school, and the principal is more concerned with his paycheck than the well being of the students.

All of my children go to NLE: 1 kinder, 2 first graders, and 1 second grader. My second grader has had some behavioral problems at school and Mr. Tim, along with his teachers, have been amazing at working with me and my son to make sure we get to the root problem, and find a way to get him back on track. My daughters adore everything about NLE. Their PTO is extremely involved with volunteer work, special events, and fundraisers. I have nothing but good feelings for NLE and would recommend anyone moving to New Iberia to enroll their child(ren) to North Lewis Elementary.

awesome. my daughter has been here since pre k.. she is special needs and i think that all the staff is great.. i have never seen a principal interact with his staff and students the way mr tim does.. i give this school a big AAAAA+++++

My grandson has been going to north Lewis since the first grade and he will be a 5th grader this year he loves the school and the teachers, this school makes you feel welcome.

The teachers work really hard to assist all students to succeed academically and socially. The Immersion team teachers bring their international flare and experience to the school and the Non-immersion Teams are second to none in their ability to teach. The parental involvement elevates the schools success. Glad to be a part of such a great place!

I really can't say enough about how i love this school! 2 of my 3 children now attend this school in their first year! There is a very very active PTO in this school which schedules several events for the children. The staff is so friendly, the principal and my children's teachers are awesome! I LOVE THIS SCHOOL!
