If I could put 0 stars I would. I do not recommend this place to anyone. All the workers mostly white and the white workers over there is highly rude and evil. They treat my daughter wrong and they treat brown skin children wrong. DO NOT bring your children over here because you will regret it.

My experience overall is positive. The principal teachers and staff have all encourage parental support and involvement. It is a big part of success not only for my child but the overall functions of the school. Anytime I've had an issue or concern the teacher works with me and responds to my concerns to help my child learn and grow. I am pleased with the support and cooperation I have received by the teacher and the administration.

My child wore blue jeans for blue jeans day. The teacher took her dollar then sent her to the office for some little Rinehart stones on the back pockets..barley noticeable. The office told her it was ok and sent her back to class. The following week the same thing. Teacher took my kids dollar but this time my child received a uniform violation. When I wrote a note to tell her I wanted it removed. My daughter was told to tell they won't do that. So I wrote another letter. Finally the school calls me and pretty much tells me they don't care what I want. When I told them I was gonna contact the school board or the daily Iberian I was told..really!! Very rudely. This is after years of teachers changing my kids grades, cutting her 60 dollar shoe strings (yes the teacher) principles getting fired for stealing from us..the parents. Plus many other things I could list. Teachers even pull their pants up to check to see if they have a little color on their socks. This is ridiculous. They don't even follow their own dress code..yes the teachers do have one. Who penalizes them? The worst part of all this is when you do complain they treat you like a nobody. And then begin to single out your kid. This school is full of horrible bullying teachers! Poor kids

Some good teachers although my daughter's 3rd grade social living/math teacher does not know 3rd grade math.Multiple times I've had to correct her test. I feel bad for the students test she gets aways with it. I can only hope for an awesome teacher for my daughter next year. Her ELA teacher this year was also great teacher. My daughter is smart and she does so good in school. She has to struggle with a teacher who should really retire...its time when you hurt students academic goals rather than help them.

Not satisfied at all! The comment that states that the school is great and they love the new principal must be someone who works for the school b c the parents in the school zone weren't notified about there being a new principal this year until the third week.of July. The "new" principal was last years assistant principal and is decent. Although I had a good year with my children last year, I feel the principal is making it difficult for MD personally to be a more focused parent. I asked to switch my teacherand the principal would not accept my request. The teacher my child has is not assigning adequate Classwork or homework. My kindergarten students homework assignment was to draw a line from left to right (nothing more no exaggeration). I teach my son at home as well and he already knows how to add and subtract and write his name. Further more this teacher is now giving him Misconduct records for not having his shoes tied. ---I'm looking into home schooling! If you are looking into living in Louisiana remember you do not have a choice of what public school to send ur child to!
