Excellent school, excellent and caring teachers and principle. I have one child who graduated in 2017 from SFSH and five more still in the school. Two of my boys have visual issues and the teachers figured out creative ways to help them study and learn. In fact many of the teachers read about their diagnosis to learn better ways to help my boys. Several teachers also volunteer their time before and after school to tutor any students who need extra help with a subject. THAT is the type of dedication these teachers have to our students. We absolutely love St. Francis-St. Hedwig School. Best parenting decision we ever made was enrolling our six kids at SFSH.

We have been in SFSH for 15 years and have overall had a great experience. For our family, this was the best option for our children's elementary and middle age schooling. They have all received an excelllent education and were prepared for high school. I'd recommend families consider SFSH for their children's schooling in Naugatuck if you are interested in a faith-based education. The current leadership in the school is outstanding and he will only continue to strengthen the base that exists today.

We are thrilled with the education at St. Francis St. Hedwig. Come to our open house. I guarantee, you will be pleasantly surprised. Once you check this school out, you will know, there is no other place for your child. SFSH is such a wonderful school. You feel like part of the family, the moment you step foot in the door.

If you are looking for a great education in a nurturing and caring environment, SFSH is the way to go. We couldn't be happier with the education my daughter has received thus far as well as the life long friends she has made. The teachers are kind, but firm. We have many events including our annual carnival, food and wine tasting, lip sinc competition as well as our new K-3 co-ed basketball program, JV and Varsity basketball, baseball, softball, cross country, choir, band, drama, science club, art club, student council, etc.

I send my children to this school to get the best education available to them. This school not only stars in academics, but as well in reinforcing the qualities and values we teach at home.

This is my daughters first year at St Francis-St Hedwig and we could not be happier. She is doing amazing and the entire staff has welcomed us from day one. I am looking forward to many years to come here.

I wish there were better alternatives private schools in town or nearby. As a result I felt as if I was forced me to keep my child at Stfrancis -St Hedwig way longer than I should have & I'm sorry that I did. I pray & hope that other parents don't make the same mistakes. The lower grades were ok but starting middle school you'll realize its a waste of your hard earned dollars. There is a lack of leadership & the teachers aren't pleasant at all. My child came home & said "mom, it's a shame how these teachers treat some students yet they talk about being a Christian school". When you address issues with the principal, priest even the archdiocese, nothing gets done. If you think you won't find any bullying because it's private, wrong & there's no laws against bullying in private schools to protect your children. As my child said "even the teachers are bullies". Looking at their standardized tests, they do poorly. Forget extra curricular activities, not only do you have to pay extra, there's no consistency in staff. Athletics is a joke. They never have coaches & if they manage to get one, it's someone inexperienced & it shows during games. Save your child, avoid this school!

My daughter attended St Francis 6 - 8 grades and loved it!! She went to a small public school previously but enjoyed SFS much more. The teachers and the principal Mr. Fuller are wonderful. My daughter went on to Choate Rosemary Hall and is doing incredible. Thank you St Francis!!
