Teachers and staff are very caring and involved and treat each student like an individual. Class sizes are small and learning is personalized to the child (both those falling behind or getting ahead). Curriculum is excellent. Students are taught strategies for learning and real world business planning skills (business case, marketing, engineering, design, sales, etc) on fun topics and projects. My daughter at 2nd grade was ahead of her 4th grade cousin in math without any extra tutoring involved. The school culture focuses on principles that are taught and rewarded in the students that foster accountable and responsible behavior, a sense of community and purpose and most importantly coping skills as life does not always work out as planned! Plenty of extra curricular activities offered and lots of ways for parents to get involved. This is a great school for kids to learn, grow and develop into tomorrow's leaders. We love this school and would highly recommend it to anyone!

I love Chesterbrook Academy and am so happy to have found a school that nourishes the whole child. My daughter is finishing her second year and is super excited to come back next year. The teachers, small class size, personal learning plan and the ability for the teachers to work one on one is what keeps me coming back. There are many private schools in the area to choose from and I have to stay the curriculum is the best of the bunch and exceeds my expectations. If you are going private, Chesterbrook Academy is the school for you and your child!

My children have had the privilege of attending Chesterbrook Academy Elementary School in Naperville since my son, Jack, started Kindergarten in 2013. Jack is now in third grade, and my son, William, is enjoying first grade this year.Chesterbrook is a fantastic school! We love the faculty, the small class sizes, advanced studies at all grade levels, the specialty classes (Spanish, Art, Music, Health, Physical Education) at all grade levels. There are more extracurricular options offered to lower grade levels than other area schools that I researched, including: music instrument lessons, choir, sports, student council, dance, chess, cooking, art, yearbook, and engineering. There are fun and educational field trips regularly. At Chesterbrook, the teachers work closely with parents to meet the academic and social goals for your children. Chesterbrook also offers before and aftercare and summer camp, which is great for busy, working parents, such as myself. I highly recommend Chesterbrook! It is worth every cent of tuition.

Our daughter is in second grade now and has been with Chesterbrook since preschool. It is an exceptional school on so many levels. I am so thankful we decided to keep her here for elementary! The teachers are inspiring and truly care about each and every student. My daughter REALLY loves going school! She has so many growth opportunities. She is challenged and encouraged. She has been able to blossom intellectually and emotionally. I wish every child had the opportunity to experience such an excellent education!

Chesterbrook Academy Elementary is the premier source for the technologically-based education that is required for children today. The STEAM based curriculum meets common core standards as a MINIMUM requirement vs. the maximum. In a neighborhood where public schools score well, this private school exceeds expectations by including coding, foreign language, engineering and science from the beginning. And the kids love it. This is our third year at Chesterbrook and there really is no comparison between the level of learning our daughter is receiving vs. that of her peers in the neighborhood. We take advantage of the private music lessons as well as the sports clubs, choir, bell choir and ukulele ensembles! Fine arts are not ignored, the school musical last year (yes, in elementary!) was fantastic. Truly a wonderful, well-rounded education that will prime your child to excel in the future.

This is our second year at Chesterbrook and we are thrilled. Our daughter is "twice execptional"---this means that she tests as gifted and also tests has some delays or disabilities. Chesterbrook is meeting both needs beautifully. The teachers are amazing and the class sizes are small. She does private music lessons at school and loves the after school clubs that include sports, cooking, chess,engineering, art and science lab. They have daily PE. She studies Art, Spanish, music and technology weekly. The technology class teaches coding too! I love their accelerated learning options. Your child is meet at their academic level no matter what grade they are in. My daughter is working a grade level ahead---which is close to 2 years ahead of public schools and even the catholic schools. Most Chesterbrook students are completing work that is a year ahead of their current grade. Can't say enough great things---Love this school.

We are very happy that we finally found a perfect school for our daughter. I agree with one of the other reviewer that the kids are challenged enough to their level and not over stressed. I may agree with other parents if the kid is not ready for this schools level of challenge may not be getting special care for them. Early childhood the kids needs to be encouraged in developing creativity, imagination critical thinking and decipline along with a strong academic background in maths, reading and writing. This school prepared the syllabus/system to perfectly balance it in all these areas. As a working parents it is less worry and runaround for us since the school offers before/after care, lunch/snacks and extra activities(arts,music and sports) and we dont have to anything extra in weekday or weekends...Other nice thing is the child to teacher ratio is around 10 and our daughter is getting enough attention from her teachers. I personally like the principal she is very friendly and helpful .

We are very happy with the staff and education that our kids receiving. It is the best school your kids can attend. I am one of those parents who believe kids education should be balanced between their free time and in class room. Kids at CAES are being challenged enough to be where they need to be prepared for the future.

Chesterbrook Academy in Oswego, IL is an amazing school. I came from a HORRIBLE child care situation and was terrified to put my daughter in another daycare. They made our family feel accepted and comfortable from day one and nothing has changed since. They truly care. I have never been surrounded by more positive teachers that enjoy their jobs so much. And just in response to the parent that made the comment about special needs, I disagree. My daughter is special needs and sees an occupational therapist. Her therapist asked if she can do fewer sessions since the school is so on top of fine motor skills. My daughter has albinism, which causes a visual and developmental delay. When I mentioned this they embraced accomodations I had asked for. I couldn't have asked for a greater school.

This is our 5th year at CAES and we could not be happier! My son gets in the car and says, Another great day Mom! Both of my children are challenged and excited about school. The class sizes are small, so all the kids get individual attention. The entire staff knows the names of my children, they are not just a number in a huge school. The music, art, technology and Spanish classes are vital and the amount of extra curriculum clubs is amazing. Love the private music lessons included in the tuition! I highly recommend CAES to anyone who values academic excellence and happy learners!

Wonderful out of the box learning. My kindergartner is already doing 1st grade math and has already had to conduct a science fair project. The overall atmosphere is that everyone is welcomed like family. They also provide numerous after school and extra curricular activities. In addition to the excellent curriculum and friendly staff, I have found that there are not as many school days off or early dismissals as the public school in my district.

Children with potential learning or other disabilities not served well here. Staff told not to recommend parents to seek outside evaluation for their child due to fear of losing enrollment.
