Avoid this school at all costs. They are the most incompetent staff I have ever seen or has the displeasure of working with. They rush the kids out the door and lock it behind them, then lie about them being able to wait for the 2nd "wave" of buses inside as they run for their cars in the rear parking lot. Only to have your child left unattended for 45 minutes waiting for a bus with 100+ other kids. In the age of Uvalde and other tragedies, this is unacceptable and their incompetence is staggering. Do some digging. This school is the worst you could do for your child.

My daughter just started here this year. All the educators here really care about the students. There are so many extracurricular activities available to the students. Great school.

My son attends this school and does well. The school is diverse and has all the extracurricular activity’s he enjoys. His classes are challenging and he enjoys all his teachers.

Our experience at this school has been nothing short of disappointing. The education provided is fair, but the culture of the school leaves a lot to be desired. There are many improvements that this school would need to make to garner a higher score.

Great school, and a valuable asset to the community. This school will produce future leaders. The education quality is top notch and so it the quality of teachers and extra curricular.

The amount of racism here is absolutely unbearable. Most teachers here are some what decent. The librarian is very rude. The administration is okay, one principal says one thing while another says something else. Campus and the school it self is all new but as the years go by, maybe some things will fix it self. BEWARE OF THE SCHOOL SMELL. 2014-2015 fine arts will be bad.

As a student who went here for a full year, I could not stand it. The amount of racism in the School was very unpleasant to begin with, Fights over racism is absolutely ridiculous. Actual physical fights over them. The Teachers are the second one. There are few who genuinely care. Many do not communicate with parents much, they will just send a child down to In School Suspension. Many were not always there for Tutorials either which all PISD High Schools have. The teachers were NOT Good in my opinion and if you ask many people they do not care either. Like all high schools there are some problems with Drugs of course, but that is not a big bother if you are not around people who are involved with them. Many people think this school is great because its in a nice area and has a nice campus, which is the only good thing I will say about this school. But Inside the school, It is awful. I had a horrible year and I do not suggest anyone go there if they have other options. As a student this is my opinion, I later transferred for my sophomore year. Improvement Needed- Administrators need to pick a better staff and teacher team. And Racism needs to be Dealt with and care for the students.

The teachers here don't care and don't know what they are talking about. As proof, I offer the example of how an AP teacher couldn't bother to give an example of Hegel's synthesis model.

New school. Great neighborhood. We don't have any complaints yet. Murphy has been ranked as a Top 10 suburb by D Magazine and this school is its flagship high school. Great teachers and staff.
