Very good - we are happy with Golden Eagle Charter School and the educational options it provides from home school to daily in school classes. They have also strongly encouraged my children in high school to take classes at our local community college. We would have taken more advantage of that opportunity, but the community college in Yreka has a very limited class schedule.

We have 3 children, homeschool with the help of our EF. She is amazing & super supportive. Our oldest has a disease, which kept her in and out of hospitals. I don't know what we would have done if GECSwas not there. Now she is graduated & in pre-med at OSU. She was fully prepared educationally and mentally for this transition. I believe she has also learned communication skills which has helped her being successful in her adult life. We also have a child with ASD, who continues to make progress everyday due to the support of GECS. Without a doubt our children will be able to succeed in this world in whatever they would like to accomplish!

I have had a really good experience with this school and would recommend it to any parent that wants a safe and amazing environment for the kids to thrive academically and personally.

There are no ratings high enough for this school . After the first week of my son changing into this school there was huge improvement . His whole attitude about going to school is different in fact he would rather be there then independent study Even when my son was going through the roughest point in his life and lashed out at adults they stood by him and with myself and the help of the principal and teachers we all walked him through it . They provided school work during the times that were too rough they turned life experiences into ways that could be made into school assignments where my son not only didn’t fall behind but he learned about himself and life and responsibility but most important he saw the male figures not give up they turned what seemed to be huge concerns into something that we could get through with a smile on our face in the end

Golden Eagle is by far the best schooling choice in the area. They provide personalized learning for each student. Helping cater to the many different learning styles. As a past student and graduate of GECS, I can personally say that they have the most dedicated-passionate teachers, great learning environment, good class selection, and with their student base growing, they've been able to begin adding sports teams and other oppotunities
