My child has learned alot and does receive extra help in subjects that she struggles in which is great! My child has never complained about anything in school or any of her teachers which is all that matters. I WILL say that I think the PTA is a little ridiculous with how it is always giving teachers presents //giftcards and almost makes me wonder if those children of those PTA parents are getting treated better than the others. Some of us moms are working class moms who do have to work to provide for our children and don’t have the time or money to donate to things like that. I do take inconsideration the area the school is in but not all families are able to do those things or be that active in child’s daily school activities. When I receive emails about what’s been bought for the teacher by these PTA parents I can’t help but think those students are definitely being treated better. I hope I’m wrong but that seems to be a huge thing here at this school.

Wonderful and enriching school. Love the teaching staff and assistance. They care about the kids, their success and their progression. I would send them to Park West schools over private schools any way. Keep up the good work!

We moved from out of state, our youngest started Kindergarten here. This is, by far, the most amazing school. My child learned an incredible amount of information in the amount of time we spent at this school. Her teacher was the most dedicated and caring individual that we've ever had come in contact with any of our children. The principal was outstanding. . .dedicated, friendly and personable. I would highly recommend this school to anyone.

We recently moved to Mount Pleasant from the Philadelphia suburbs. The schools and teachers are amazing! They have manage to keep the personalized feel of a small school, with individualized care, with the resources and technology of a large school. We love the area and the district!

Awesome facility, caring staff and wonderful place for kids to learn. Communication from teachers is quick and love having my 2 kids there. Would send them to Laurel Hill before paying crazy money for a private school. I moved them from private to LH and the quality is actually better.

I am not sure whether my child got bad teachers 2 years in the row or perhaps his school is not as good as I thought. The teaching methods are boring, no teacher-student interaction, lack of creativity, lack of discipline. I got to believe the school's reputation is good because of the children's academic performance, which from my experience is parents merit and not teachers'. This school allows buying presents/giftcards for the teacher which I believe is a form of bribing that ultimately promotes corruption.

Laurel Hill Primary has the finest teachers and the leadership that the principal puts forth is outstanding. I am a proud parent of Laurel Hill. I have a child in K5, 1st grade, and an older daughter that attended K through 3rd grade at Laurel Hill. All of my children were exicited each and every day to attend school and this is do to the strong staff and programs that this school provides.

For a school with a large population, Laurel Hill does a fantastic job making it feel small. My son attended 3 years, and my daughter is now in K. She is reading, understands complex math, and LOVES school. I wish they had more time in art, but this school is amazing!
