We love Moreland! So far we've just done Prek but look forward to more years here.

Amazing! I have nothing but positive things to say about this school. I feel confident in the education and life skills my children are provided here. My only regret is thst we didn't move here sooner.

This school is great! The teachers and staff really care about the development of every child. My boys had a hard time at school before they came here and now they love school because they get the support they need. My youngest boy is in special ed and in the gifted program, he feels a sense of pride about his work and the teachers encourage this without making him feel bad about his reading disability. My oldest boy has had behavior issues and the school has pulled out all the stops to support him and now he is doing so much better! Thanks to MES we feel like they have a good future ahead of them!

My son attended MES for his entire elementary school career, and I cannot say enough good things about this school! The teachers are amazing. In fact, we still go back and visit many of them to share the progress of my son, and they all remember him by name! While sports were hard to come by, Moreland offers tons of clubs and after school activities. The standards for learning are above average, and each child is personally worked with. Faculty is genuinely invested in the kids and their families. Parents are welcome to come any time they want. Such a great school!

Some teachers are good, some not so good. The good teachers (like Willingham, Carrol, or Exner) kept my daughter engaged and actually stood up in front of the class and walk around the class as they instruct. Some of the other teachers just sit at their desks and say nothing to the students on most days. They taught the kids to have a routine in the first two weeks of the year then sat down. One of the teachers is out of school frequently, but think it's ok to give bad grades on assignments due the days that she was out. I highly recommend any parent to enforce an open line of communication with all teachers at this school. They have a lot of work to do...I won't deny that fact. If you don't maintain the communication, your child WILL fall between the cracks and FAIL because the not so good teachers who sit at their desks and say nothing will continue to do just that...NOTHING. If anything look into other school options.

I love this school. My son had the pleasure of attending there. The teachers are so great! My son adored his third grade teacher, Mrs. Bassett. She spent time with him and was great at helping us get on track. Thanks to this school and all it has done. Love It!!!

This school has continued to have low teacher child ratios even in tough times. Kindergarten classes have 16-19 students. They offer so much support for struggling students and enrichment for gifted students. Fantastic community support that seems to be growing.

This school is above par and are devoted to the education of the children. I understand budget cuts but it is still difficult to supply our children with their school supplies. Often, my child has come home crying because they didn't have something they needed.

"Working together to be our best, Growing and learning is our quest" is the mission statement recited daily at Moreland Elementary. It's a great place for students, parents & staff! Not only does the school day offer quality instruction with rigor and high expectations delivered by a highly qualified, creative & nuturing staff, it also offers extra activities such as Girl Power, M-Troop, EIP after school lab, Math Study groups, Academic Bowl, Art Club, Track, Chorus, K-Kids, Wildcat Assistants, 4H, SAFE program, Movie Night (PTO), Reading Night (PTO), & Stevi B's Night. Moreland is the complete package. In the six years my son has attended MES, there has never been a day that he has not wanted to attend. We are very proud to be a Moreland Wildcat!
