many students at this school merely go to complete their education and aren't very enthusiastic. others who have submitted to what is said by the ones in power are those who seem obedient and nearly mindless.

They got rid of straws, and while I get that they are to save the turtles or whatever, there’s something about drinking chocolate milk straight from a wet paper carton that makes me feel like school lunch somehow got worse.

This school was, by far, our favorite school experience in Montgomery Township! The Principal Cory Delgado is the best. There are plenty of STEM offerings, afterschool help, clubs, extracurriculars, and excellent teachers.

Being at this school is really hard. I was a "gifted kid" who took a high level curriculum in elementary. I did well in elementary and all through 6th grade, but haven't done well in this middle school building in particular. There are some teachers who are great, effective, and supportive. However, many more of them are either incompetent as teachers or unable to cater to all levels of learning. Also, the kids are very cliquey. If you don't play lacrosse, basketball, or field hockey, you're immediately pushed to the side. Kids who are being put under the constant pressure to keep up the image of Monty Schools frankly hate it. While the school does have a good science program and an outstanding drama department, other than that there's not too much that makes this school special. Frankly, this is my least favorite of the Monty schools so far, and mostly because of the teachers.

School staff offer no productive assistance in helping my disabled child succeed in school. School principal more concerned with maintaining the district's reputation than with actually helping and supporting students in need. Homeschooling is a better option than this place.

Not what you expect at Montgomery school district. Leadership needs improvement, staffs need to be more polite when dealing with parents, they need more training and good direction going further. Worst 2 years of my child's life.

Some teachers are not as good as we hoped compared to the taxes we pay. My daughter said her social studies class is boring. Her teacher is on the computer the whole class. and all she does is give out worksheets to fill out and barely stands up and talks to the students. In addition, her Spanish teacher is too strict. She spends more than half the class period lecturing the students about one sheet of homework and yells at them for throwing out a used tissue, sharpening their pencil etc. Though, her math teacher and chorus teacher are very nice. Kids enjoy being in their classes.

Montgomery Lower Middle school in my opinion was much much MUCH, better than the Upper Campus. The teachers aren't too good, but there are a few fantastic ones. Some teachers are just down right mean and rude! Also, the class lessons aren't fun and the teachers just downright don't even care sometimes! And whenever the principal comes in to check on the classes, the teacher always has some sudden change in attitude which makes things frustrating. This never happened at the Lower Middle School! The students here are also very "clique-y". There's literally "social classes"! If you're not a cheerleader, laxer or football player, forget it.
