St Mary School is a wonder. In a world of extremely liberal teaching, St Mary sticks to core values, education. Teaching kids right from wrong, about God's work and how to become a great and well educated teenager by the time they graduate. I wouldn't send my child to any other school. The teachers care for the students, and St Mary's is small but with a bevy of extracurricular events that wouldn't happen if it weren't for the teachers staying later and providing these services. Intramural sports for the younger kids to challenging sports programs for the older ones are available. St Mary's is like a family my family is part of! They also teach cursive!

We have been part of the Saint Mary’s family for over ten years. We started out in the pre-school program with Miss Elaine and Miss Kathy, they are both amazing with the little kids. I have two kids that attend Saint Mary’s school and we just love it. The sense of community is very strong at SMS. The teachers have all been great and I have can get in touch with them anytime I had any questions or concerns. We love the way they incorporate technology into the classroom, My daughter can’t wait till she’s old enough to appear on the daily TV announcements! My son loves that he is a member of the Honor’s program… They really make it a point to celebrate academic achievements on a regular basis and my Son loves getting his honor’s certificate in front of his whole school! The sports programs are well organized and SMS offers a lot of extracurricular activities. My daughter’s favorite activity is the Performing Arts Club and my son loves the basketball team. The administration and office staff are all really very nice, approachable and they have become true friends over the years. Saint Mary’s really takes safety seriously and has adapted many security protocols so I feel very safe with my kids there. It’s also right around the corner from the Police Station which is great! Saint Mary’s is always doing FUN stuff like trunk or treat, participating in the Main Street Parade, and appearing on Good Day Philadelphia annually. They have class parties for many holidays too! They offer parents lots of opportunities to get involved. The education rooted in faith has really help molded my kids into kind, loving tweens and not just my own children but the support I see from their peers is remarkable. We can’t say enough good things about Saint Mary’s !

Love the close-knit feel of this school. I recognize teachers and administrators and they recognize me and our relationships are genuine--not because I'm a paying parent. They all really care about my child and his well-being. I also love that this school preserves childhood. The atmosphere here encourages that and that's not something I see in a public school. Kids aren't in a rush to grow up here.

We transferred our son to St. Mary's for 4th grade due to the fact that we'd be faced with continuing in our less than desirable school district. He LOVES it! We LOVE it! Everyone is so nice, friendly, and caring. We are really happy with the decision we made.

St. Mary's School is an excellent school for K-8 and provides a rich academic environment. The teachers care deeply about their students success, and the atmosphere is safe and provides an opportunity for each student to shine.
