My daughter graduated from Triumph Academy not that long ago. It had it's ups and downs. Staff were friendly to me. However, I heard they weren't so nice to others that questioned things the teachers were teaching or what they allowed them to watch. It's a pretty liberal school, so conservatives beware. Pickup and dropoff were the worst, but I heard there was talk of them fixing this issue. The reason I'm writing this post now is because my daughter was so unprepared for high school that we are using tutors left and right to get her caught up. Her teachers at Triumph all said she was doing great and she had almost all straight A's. Unfortunately, she wasn't able to get into the middle college and was waitlisted. She's also just starting to get involved in sports and is behind as Triumph didn't have much for her to do. It's pretty well-known most of the high schools in Monroe are junk, so we moved to Novi. That was my first and my last experience with a charter school. I hear they are hit and miss. It wasn't all-bad, but my daughter now regrets missing out on all the sports programs she could have been part of at the public middle schools here. I never realized they were so drastically different.

Why is the building in a shape of an F it makes no sense and they did things last minute, and the morning drop off and dismissal was a a joke, the parking and traffic in the school was also horrible.

I was new to the area and wasn't sure where to place my 3 kids. I spoke with a parent that had sent her daughter to Triumph since Kindergarten and she told me what a wonderful school it was. I called and spoke to the office and they walked me through each step to try and get my kids registered. I sent all my paperwork in and two days later received a call that my kids were enrolled. I was excited but nervous for my kids to start a new school. That was the best decision i have ever made for my kids future. I know that my childrens education is in great hands. They are in the middle of their second year at Triumph Academy and they will never go anywhere else. The office is helpful and amazing. The principal is dedicated and very involved. The teachers are down to earth and understanding. I love this school and recommend it to anyone that will listen. If you are new to the area and are looking for a fantastic school to send your kids, look no further. Triumph Academy has it all!
