    It has come to my attention that the school has been facing significant issues, including inadequate educational standards and a concerning approach to student welfare. Reports of bullying have been consistently ignored, creating an unsafe environment for students. This lack of action raises serious concerns about the school’s commitment to fostering a safe and supportive atmosphere.

    This rural school has the support of the intire community. Dedicated teachers with the help of parents and other volunteers provide the kind of education that teaches students how to learn, develop a variety of skills and talents and develop the confidence in themselves and work with others. The students from HMK build on this and as high school students win regional, state and national awards.

    Moab is a small rural town but they try to bring in artists to work with the students in many areas. The teachers are so dedicated, yet the county has recently had a revenue shortfall and they are facing large cutbacks that make them lose teachers and increase class sizes detrimentally.
