This school caters to Midlands Elite and sees everyone else as second class citizens. There is no support for special needs, students of color, LGBTQ or students who are getting bullied. If you're child gets bullied by a kid who is considered "Midlands Elite", good luck getting any kind of resolution until its too late. You can focus in test scores all you want but if you want a mentally healthy child, look elsewhere.

It is your typical 'high income' school that caters to higher income families. The fund raisers and expectation of contribution puts most families barely struggling with income into the dog house. If you do not contribute, you are considered a second class family.

If your child is struggling here, good luck. They have absolutely no tutoring programs or extra help for kids unless your child has a learning disability.

Woodcrest is a fantastic school - the principal is very involved and hands-on with both parents and students, and the teachers are very eager to see each child succeed. The IB PYP is a great way to put the learning back in the hands of the students - rather than focusing on spoon-feeding them information, the kids are really taught to think critically and to problem-solve and teach each other. I am grateful that all of my kids get to attend such a fabulous school.

Woodcrest was a great school up until this year when they have fully adopted the International Baccalaureate program. IB is run by a Swiss Corporation and developed by the United Nations UNESCO. It focuses on Global political correctness, down-plays American Exceptionalism, teaches collectivism , and that the US Constitution has no place in the Global community. Couple that with a massive cost of these programs the taxpayers will be saddled with, I have no choice but to take my Kids out along with the state money, and enroll them in a Charter School

My daughter is starting here this year and I have heard nothing but great things from neighbors, friends, and people in the community. I am excited to send her here and I know that she will be getting a top-notch education for her elementary years.

I am the grandmother of a child who goes here and I love the quality of this school. I hear nothing but good things from my daughter about her children going here.

I am a parent and a grandparent of two former students at Woodcrest and they got the very best education possible.
