This School is amazing. It provides an amazingly high level of education for their students, and so many opportunities that can potentially set them apart from the rest when applying to colleges and careers. We moved here to provide the best we could for our children's education and we are not disappointed. No bullying issues, their are so many diverse cultures to learn from and the student body is large so if you don't feel like you fit in in one area you can easily find your people and comfort in other areas. They also offer multiple levels of learning that can fluctuate with your childs needs whether they need extra help or are advanced. They also offer so many program free of charge to the families for higher education.

I don’t believe this school even deserves a star. I attended 3 different high schools while being a student and this one was truly the worst by a long shot. To begin, if you haven’t been here since their kindergarten classes, good luck! The kids are incredibly cliquey and sheltered. It was as if they weren’t aware there are people that live outside of Midland. When coming here, they messed my transcript up resulting in me being forced into classes I already had credit for. After reading reviews online, it seemed other people had a similar issue in regards of their transcript missing spots which is just ridiculous. After bringing this to their attention, they told me to stick the classes out. This school was holding me back academically and socially. After finally getting out of that school, people shared their own experiences of the students and people of midland. Seems to be a cliquey stuck up place according to the numerous people I’ve conversed with. Can confidently say these were the worst years of my entire life! If I can save someone from the pointless nonsense I had to deal with here, that would be enough for me!

DON'T GO TO THIS "EXCELLENT" SNOOTY SCHOOL FULL OF CRAZY STUDENTS, STAFF, AND EVEN PARENTS! When moving to Midland, I heard of how nationally ranked it was and was excited to be apart of it. Good thing the ESA program my twin was involved with moved to sweet, intelligent, and careful Midland High School. Would have suffered the unholy tortures of a PURE evil cross country coach at Dow; had a tender brilliant one at MHS. Don't join the Galactic Empire (Dow High) and become a stormtrooper, Imperial troop, or green or gray suited officer (Charger). Be a true Republic Rebel or Jedi Knight (Chemic)!

From a college freshman- When i came to this school 4 years ago i had never been in a class with more than about two dozen other classmates. Also i had never been in an advanced math or science program and had limited access to people of different backgrounds, also was academically unmotivated (came here for sports). Now I am attending the top public university in my State and graduated in the top 10%, all because of the motivation I found at this school through my peers and teachers. The academic competition here is intense, and will push you to be your best. The pace of learning is generally really fast, but they have programs for learners of all speed, they also have a great special needs program, best in area. Vast majority of teachers and staff at Dow really care about what they do and will give their all to help you understand something, staying after hours if need be. That being said, most of them are just as amazing as people -many of them are very inspiring people, like Mr. watkins and mr. schwartzkopf. Extra-curriculars are off the charts here: many top ranking sports programs, biggest band in area, and even the opportunity to start your own club very easily. Definetly the best school to attend if you live around Midland, or in Saginaw county even. But seriously, they need to renovate the bathrooms here bad.

I like school. Dow is fun. Dont send your kid here if they want to lick a sheeps heart though, they arent allowed to do that. They will get in trouble.

Dow High is an awesome school and has the biggest marching band in the region of 214 members! The teachers care about your education and will take the extra step to help! The sports are also great!
