School is advanced with tablets. My children have learned a lot from this school.

Please be careful with this school. I know everyone’s experience is different but it is 2021 and things such as bullying, accountability, proper security and overall safety should not be this bad. If a child is bullied, or a child is a bully, accountability needs to be taken. You cannot pacify a bully or their parent while putting everyone else’s safety at risk. My child has told me on a number of occasions that the staff “couldn’t find” their classmates or how they rode a bus with a child that was not supposed to be on the bus. If you value safety, proper security, and do not want to worry about your children being punching bags for children that possibly need intervention services, choose a different district. The principal is known to sweep important issues under the rug, rather than address, intervene, and change them. Ask them how many security guards they now have and where they are now. They do not care about safety! No child (or teacher for that matter) should be put in unsafe positions!

Our daughter had a terrific experience last year as a Kindergartener at William A. Carter. Her teacher possessed many years of experience which made learning effective and fun. Because of the partnership my husband and I built with her teacher, our daughter is a confident reader, enjoys simple math concepts, and writes very well. In her 1st year she was exposed to music, art, working with a computer, gym, and several books. Student safety is a priority because ID s are necessary whenever entering the building or picking-up a student at dismissal. Unfortunately we could not be involved with school events as much as we would like to but rather as much as our schedule permitted. The PTO does a fabulous job bringing community and school together. Our daughter is looking forward to 1st grade at Carter elementary and all that it has to offer.

She is right same story my son was bullied and they didn't do nothing this is a bad school I have moves to upstate schools are better here.

PARENTS BEWARE! THIS SCHOOL DOES NOT KEEP YOUR KIDS SAFE! My son attended this school from 3rd grade to 5th grade and he was bullied. My son told his teacher he was being bullied and she asked the other kid if it was true and of course he said no so then she asked other kids in the class if they saw anything and they backed up my son's story. She told me she couldn't do anything because she didn't see it. I went to the principal and my son still wasn't protected until the boy actually punched him in the face and gave him a nose bleed. I am so glad my son is finished with this school.
