Our daughter just started the 2nd grade at St John's. Alot of thought was put into this decsion. We are more than thrilled that we did, we were not sure about the transition from the public school but it has be wonderful. Our daughters love getting up in the morning to go to school. Everyone is very welcoming. Our oldest daughter attended catholic school and we missed the sense of community and attribute who she is today to the Catholic schools she attended.

Love St. John's. My son has been enrolled since Kindergarten and he will be entering 2nd grade in the fall. He just love the school and looks forward everyday to going. The teachers and staff are so kind and the community of the families is just awesome! My youngest son will be starting Pre-K in the Fall at their new Preschool Program in the Fall. Can't wait.!!It's a really great school!

I am a NYS certified school teacher who works in our state public schools (which are great). However, I send my child to St. John's and he has been in the school since Kindergarten. He is now a rising 4th grader. I love the smaller school and how all the teachers know my son personally and keep an eye out for him. The school follows the Common Core State Standards voluntarily and the schools grades on state assessments are exactly on par with every other public school in our state. St. John's may be a private school, but it does work with the Goshen School District and as such offers special education services, has advanced Regents classes for its 8th graders, buses its students, offers hot lunches, etc. The big difference between St. John's and our public schools is that my child is free to practice his religion. He celebrates Christmas and Easter, he can pray in school, and the Catholic faith is celebrated openly. When I teach my child right and wrong at home, I KNOW it will be reinforced in school. St. John's is perfect for us.
