If your student is already struggling in ANY area DO NOT enroll them here. The teachers are at least decent and seem to want to students to be successful. The officer staff, administrators, and anyone else are less than helpful and if anything will over step their boundaries with your own child. They have ZERO standards in all areas and failing is totally exactable, attendence is optional and will even tell YOUR child that they do not have to go even if you said they do. They also won’t be able to account for where your children are or who checks them out. There are some very questionable and to personal of relationships between admins and students. Don’t bother expressing your concerns. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere where, or unenroll your student, and report these behaviors. YOU'RE the parent and if you feel like something isn’t right with YOUR child don’t let anyone make you second guess that feeling. These reviews say it all.

We’ve had a number of students graduate from Middleton High School, and a few yet to go! As with any public education system, The landscape is ever changing, including teachers and administration. Middleton High School has worked diligently to continuously improve.

I'm torn on the school because I am a parent and have substituted at the school. I always enjoyed picking up assignments at the high school because the students are very engaging, intelligent and kept me on my toes. The staff are welcoming and helpful, but appear very stressed and bounded. They've expressed how they are truly not free to teach their curriculum, their way and find they have become more of a babysitter/counselor as opposed to a teacher. When the pandemic hit and the school district responded hastily with restrictions, I stopped substituting. As a parent of a student on the spectrum, they were on top of assisting my daughter with learning aids in certain subjects and even taking them away when they see she's improved. She never had issues with bullying or any other social issues, but she's observed other injustices toward other students and teachers. A little before the pandemic occurred, my daughter withdrew herself and began homeschooling, due to the environment getting unruly and just didn't feel safe anymore.

Academic Counselors are not very informed concerning what the state offers in the way of monetary funds in paying for duel credit classes. They left my son to "figure it out for himself" when we asked about working towards an Associates Degree. They do place some emphasis on duel credit courses for college credit, but those credits don't do much if colleges do not accept them. More emphasis on the AA program is needed. School safety is an issue because of the lack of funds.

My daughter has had excellent teachers at Middleton High School, the AP teachers have been professional. One of my daughters favorite teachers Mr. Swygart (AP Government) brings the class together as a team. He is a respectful teacher to all the students.

Great school. Majority of teachers go the extra mile in helping students succeed. Tha principal sets the tone for a school and this principal is the very best. His top priority is the students and he has done more for this school and community than any principal I have ever experienced.

My kids excelled at middleton and have had a great experiences. The FFA program is very strong and has dedicated teachers. The teams and individual students have ranked nationally.

This school is not good. There is a problem with bullying and drugs. The teachers don't care how well the students do, and in some cases encourage their bad behavior. I was a student here so I have first hand experience. I wish I could have went to a charter school.
