The best teacher is Kurt Scheffler, He is the best person ever and probably the greatest teacher of all time, realistically

This school is great for elementary education! Highly recommend. Once the student moves into the secondary school though they are on par with other local schools for grades 6-8 academically and with class choice options. Once the student reaches high school there are a few teachers who care and make an impact on their students, however the school does not offer nearly the course selection offered at other schools. And because many of their "higher level" classes are only offered once per day it often precludes students from being involved in other classes to round out their education and explore interests. The secondary teachers are all expected to teach multiple classes within their pervue (ex: geometry, alg2, precal, cal, and stats).

I am extremely disappointed with the level of administrative overreach that I have seen and experienced at this school. Banning everything to attempt to solve one issue has caused more issues at this school than I have ever seen. It is truly a sight to see when your attempt to make things safer instead causes such a large disruption to the learning environment. Truly a laughable school.

We have had a positive experience with Vision Charter. All three of our children attend.

Vision Charter School is a great school! The teachers are the best and truly care about every student. They helped fill in gaps in my math when I started 2 years ago and now I test above grade level. Switching to Vision was the best decision my mom has made!

Vision Charter school has been a true blessing to our children. The students are truly valued as individuals and not just a number! The Principal knows all the students on a first name basis and goes out of her way to help her students become successful. In the past my kids have had a problem with bullying because the school would doing anything about it. This is no longer an issue. My children feel safe talking to the recess supervisors or their teachers because they know they will not be ignored and that the problem will be dealt with. This is also a school that promotes strong parent involvement. All six of my kids ranging from 2nd - 12th love their school!

I am very impressed with this school. I know that the waiting list is very, very long, and I know why...they are an exceptional school!

I love Vision Charter School! I know that when my children are there, they are well taken care of and loved! The teachers, staff and administration are all helpful and kind. My children have made wonderful friends that make them better people instead of tearing them down. My children have learned so much! Their reading skills have improved dramatically since starting at Vision! I would highly recommend Vision Charter School to anyone looking for both a high quality and nurturing environment for their children! This school rocks!!

My kids love the teachers because they know they are loved and they know the teachers want the very best for them.

My kids love this school. My kids actually like to go to school every day. When your kids want to be at school, when they are excited to learn, when they come home and tell me about all of the things that they learned at school, and how much fun they are having while learning, it is a dream come true.

The administrators and teachers at this school truly treat each student as the individual that he or she is. I love that homework is an expectation, but that it is balanced and not "busy" work. Any and all instances that could potentially be viewed as "bullying" are thoroughly investigated (went through this with my daughter this year). I have two kids who attend, and although they are both still in elementary school, I hope to see them graduate from this school.

Being a student at this school is so fun. All the teachers are so engaging. I always feel compelled to learn. I have gone to other public schools, but none are as amazing as this one!

Love this school! My daughter will graduate with her high school diploma AND her Associates Degree. My kids have received a top notch education and are well prepared for the next steps in their education. Thank you, Vision Charter!

Amazing school! The staff is truly the best at this school! Transferred my kids due to bullying issues at their old school and not being happy with the lack of response from the staff. Bullying you will find at any school. However the staff at Vision actually deals with bullying issues effectively. I don't know how they do it, but whatever they are doing it is working and other schools need to take note! My kids are happier and love going to school now. And knowing my kids will be in a safe environment and not worrying about them everyday puts a parents mind at ease. Best school in Canyon County hands down! Everything about this school is A+

I currently go to vision charter school and it is amazing! I transferred there in the middle of 6th grade (before I was going to sage valley middle school) and it was like a whole new world the kids weren't mean and rude hardly at all! It was so nice because at sage I was bullied a LOT but none of the teachers cared. But recently at Vision I was Being Bullied and harassed seriously there's a kid who made a gun with his finger and was calling me ugly and fat and very rude names. I told one of my teachers and then the next day the vice principal called me into her office to have me bear witness that what happened and the situation was dealt with immediately. It Is a wonderful safe learning environment. I love going there!

Vision is a secondary option to Thomas Jefferson Charter (in my opinion). My son has been at Vision for two years (7 & 8th grades) and my daughter attended last year as a 6th grader. This school is larger for a charter and with that comes the drama that we escaped at the smaller charter school down the road. Overall, teacher quality is great and the education is sound. They do a lot for the kids in terms of after-school events and are very strict when it comes to bullying and other common problems. The challenge is extra curricular activities are lacking. So, depending on your child, it's a great place to receive an education.

Our family is so grateful for Vision Charter School! The small and safe environment, and challenging curriculum, are just what our son needs. We particularly enjoy how his teachers have focused on science. Very pleased with the quality of teachers and the administration. If you are looking for a school for your child, request a tour!
