The school is not worth it, only thing that made me stay was our history teacher he was the only one who really cared abt the students. The kids there are rude and disrespectful, teachers don’t do anything abt it. The admin ignores bullying, and students putting in concerns. The school gets worse and worse every year. DO NOT send your kids here if you want them to be happy

Total chaos. No student teacher organization. Kids out of control. No teacher to stand up for kids learning.

If you do not care about your son/daughter or their future, by all means, send them here and get them out of your hair. This school is the worst mistake we ever made. It took a very bright, clean and caring individual, into a selfish, drug-addicted child within months. Granted he's of weak character and always followed those around him, but it didn't help having the principal (McMillan) coddle his desires to be irresponsible, try drugs and throw away the years of moral values we’ve instilled in him. Not only is the curriculum a joke, they support the adolescent cries for freedom without responsibility. Our son decides to miss school or just attends two periods of classes a day and he doesn’t get any reprimand. In fact, missing 10 days a month all year, they say he’s still on track to graduate! They do not give homework, have deadlines (except all assignments are due by the end of the year), and teachers are not able to fail students. These are obviously ways to create successful adults because the real world never has deadlines, actual hard work or consequences for not showing up. It’s absolutely heaven for teens, of course, and those who know what it takes to be successful are their enemies because an actual “adult” supports their immoral desires. Basically, this school has turned what’s considered bad in society into good and good into bad. If you’re contemplating Atlas, love your child and want them to be successful, stay away from this school and consider Idaho Virtual Academy or beg Middleton High School to make an exception. Hopefully, our mistake will keep others from losing their teen.
