My husband and I were looking for a school for our daughter. After visiting/calling several preschools we weren’t completely happy with the way things were run at these schools. We decided to ask around the community, several parents we spoke to highly recommended Concordia to us. We decided to call and speak directly with the school- we instantly loved everything from their teaching methods, to religious beliefs and the way they handle allergies/ emergencies. We decided to go in person even though with Covid restrictions we weren’t able to tour the school. However, the moment we stepped foot onto the campus grounds we felt a sense of love and community. All the staff that greeted us were so nice and welcoming at that moment we knew this is where our daughter needed to attend. Our first schooling experience has been beyond wonderful, I only have positive things to say. Our daughter truly loves and enjoys going to school- she has learned and has grown so much this past year. If you have a child with allergies you will be happy to know that the school continuously communicated with me to inform me of any special events that would be happening so that I can plan ahead and make sure my daughter would have something so that she wouldn’t feel left out. If you are looking for a preschool that feels more like a family, is religion based and feels like a community then look no further. I promise, you will be so happy and grateful for choosing this school for your child.

I highly recommend this school for young children. Both of my kids started at 2 and 3 years old after attending a nearby well rated preschool/ elementary before, and Concordia was so much better! The classes are very hands on and interactive, all of the teachers are incredibly creative and enthusiastic in their teaching, and the loving culture amongst the entire staff is so appreciated. They are very responsive, approachable, and involved and I am so grateful for the specialized attention from my Childrens teachers in recognizing my kids needs as well as attributes. My kids have adored all their teachers here and are excited to go to school every day! The kids are in good, loving and wise hands at Concordia. Highly recommended.

I’m writing this review to share my AMAZING experience with Concordia school. My daughter attended there last year for the 2021-2022 school and I cannot say enough great things about our experience. It was our first time putting her in school and we were anxious and nervous, but we knew she was ready to take off on her learning adventure. We explored many different places and options because we wanted our daughter to grow and learn, but to also feel safe and loved. As her mother, and a teacher myself I began to speak to friends and colleagues and started the process of visiting schools to determine which would be best for her. We were told and recommended to come check this school out, so we did & we fell in love! We were lucky enough to land with the BEST teachers EVER… whom loved her like they were her own and helped her grow so much! She loved attending school and learning and making friends, and they made her feel happy and safe. Mrs. Lengua, Mrs. Estefy, & Mrs, Melissa are truly one of a kind. They go above and beyond to make the kids learning experience so much fun… what every school experience should be like. I highly recommend this school, as your kids will have so many learning opportunities where they incorporate hands-on experiences and fun activities. They will be loved and taken care of, and we all know in the end as parents that’s what’s most important.

My girls have been attending Concordia for over 3 years now. Concordia is an excellent example of what a school should be. They are a close nit family, not just teachers and staff. They truly care about the well being of my babies and it reflects on the smiles they come home with. I have never been happier at a school and sadly my girls have grown too big for it and must continue on. I will forever miss the teachers and staff, truly blessed to have had my girls here. I give Concordia 10 stars!

Both of my children have gone to Concordia for pre-k 3 and above. Finding this school for my kids was the best thing that could have ever happened to our family as far as early learning goes. My son left Concordia and started kindergarten already fully reading and has excelled in elementary school thanks to the foundation built here. Not only is Concordia amazing academically but it also gave this mama peace of mind. Dropping off my kids at Concordia feels like dropping them off with family members. The family feeling you get at this school is like no other. I have recommended this school to all of my friends and family and will continue to do so! My only wish would be that they continued on into higher grades so that my kids could have stayed there forever!

The best school EVER! Teachers and Staff are amazing - they make the learning experience fun and exciting for the students. In addition to being great with the children, they are great with the families. They constantly communicate, share pictures and are always downloading with the parents about the children’s progress. If only they would offer classes up to high school - that would be a dream come true! I fully put my trust in the Concordia teachers and staff!

My daughter has been attending Concordia since she was 1. I have to say I was truly concerned with putting her in school at such a young age. Concordia not only gives me the security , but more than the love I expected for My daughter . I have never felt more happy with the school , the teachers are absolutely amazing and attentive , especially the director who goes above and beyond . There's no better place to feel like home , like Concordia . My daughter LOVES going to school, she has made such wonderful friends , and the teachers have truly become more like family . If you need a place for your child and want to be CERTAIN that things are going as you would wish for your child , this school has that. Concordia provides your kids with "home away from home " and there's nothing more you can ask for when it comes to your children .

Concordia has been the biggest blessing to me and my family. Both my son and daughter attened PK3 and VPK at Concordia and our experience has been absolutely wonderful. The teachers are amazing and love the children as if they were their very own. Every teacher my son and daughter have had have been great. They always go above and beyond with the kids. My kids are excited to go to school every day and when I pick them up, they always have a smile on their face. When I drop my kids off at Concordia, I leave knowing they are in the best hands and I never have to worry. By the time they leave VPK, they have all the tools and knowledge to succeed in Kindergarten. When my son entered Kindergarten, he was actually advanced! The teachers and administration truly are exceptional. When you join Concordia, what you gain is a second family. I will always recommend Concordia to anyone looking for the best preschool for their son or daughter.

I wish there were more stars for rating Concordia! This school has been so enriching and the biggest blessing for my boys. This is a one of a kind school with the best teachers/ staff! I can't say enough about the greatness that is Concordia! I know when my kids are dropped off, they are in the BEST (and loving) hands like that of family. Truly wish I could leave them here forever and ever. There would never be enough words to show my appreciation and gratitude for this school and all of the love and dedication they pour into these children.

Having my child start preschool during the pandemic was a tough decision. Having my child start at Concordia was the BEST decision. The staff really knows how to make your child feel safe and loved. There is great communication between the teachers and the parents which includes: pictures/videos of the kids learning, what to focus on at home and weekly reminders on what activities are coming up (no last minute running to the store for a project!). My daughter wakes up everyday asking is it's a school day and will ask if she can see her teachers on the weekends - it could be because my daughter had Mrs. Lengua's and her amazing team!! They really make learning fun and make it an experience so the kids can put what they're learning into practice. The culture also allows parents to form their own community that is always willing to help each other out and lasting friendships are created. If you are looking for a preschool that makes you feel like you are leaving your kids with extended family - Concordia is the place for you.

Today is our last day at this school. While there are some excellent teachers, there are some awful ones. Director’s family or friends will get first preference for the good ones. No lottery. No fairness. The school is rundown, and they don’t seem to have any intention of improving it. Director is still operating as if it was still March 2020. Parents were not allowed in the school (passed a line in the front entrance) or in classrooms all year long. No events, or shows. Was very pleased at the start of the year, but the honeymoon phase wore off quickly. Happy to be moving on.

Would not recommend this school to anyone who has a sensory child or a child with a disability. They make you feel bad and just complain and complain and give no guidance or have compassion for parents. The entire school staff needs to take a course on children with disabilities and sensory issues, education is power. The hardest part to accept was when the Director hinted that she couldn’t accept my child if he kept on with the screaming and tantrums. All children have strengths and weaknesses. They’re all different and they all need a school to learn how to be social in school settings and progress on their disability so they’re prepared for life, don’t exclude them! Love one another just like your school preaches. Concordia is a religious school and they don’t practice what they preach. Avoid this school they’re a huge disappointment!! They want little robots and kids with no complications no tantrums.

We've had a great experience at Concordia with both of our daughters. I'm getting ready to send my youngest to summer camp and realized I have yet to leave a review. I love the school's new director, who has worked there for years, Mrs. Lauture. She's a mom and grandmom herself and is very loving and an excellent teacher. She prides herself on turning Concordia students into early readers, which I think is a huge benefit in getting kids ahead in school. It's a very loving environment and we've had a great experience. I would highly recommend. I was surprised to read some of the bad reviews below, but they appear to be many years old.

I have had all my children here at Concordia, They all have been blessed with great teachers and staff that made their preschool years so memorable. In addition, they have had the opportunity to make wonderful friendships. The staff, the students, and parents are great! The children are exposed to such much and learn so much that is is amazing. I could not be happier. Over the years, I have referred many friends and family and all have been very satisifed with the care and attention offered.

Concordia provides an amazing curriculum, while also providing a safe and nurturing environment. This school houses loving teachers, efficient administration and involved parents who together create a family oriented atmosphere that is incomparable.

I repeat, please parents and grandparents keep your eyes open if your child in in this school or you are considering this school for your child. It is truly not what it appears to be!!!! Sorry it is just the sad truth!

My son attended Concordia for 2 years and every summer camp until he was too old to go there anymore. The staff and administration were very caring and nurturing and certainly imparted in him his love for God and learning. Today he is 15 years old and a successful honor student at a local public high school and it is all because he had a great start at Concordia. He still visits the school for special events so he can see his first teachers.

Be very cautious before sending your child here. Although the school is clean, secure, and orderly, it can be a very harsh environment for your child -it certainly was for mine. The discipline policy is outrageous and consists of one on one time with the director... How scary for such a small child. This school lacks love and care - two of the most important things your child needs. If considering this school, do you child a favor and look elsewhere.
