    The teachers and staff go above and beyond for the students. The principal is excellent and always available.

    Strong principal and teachers. The school needs to do a better job identifying students needing additional help including 504, IEP and those with slight needs. Parents have to fight to get their child assistance. Many have to pay for outside testing in order to show the school that help is needed. I cannot discern whether it is the curriculum or the lack of funds the previous superintendent allotted for identification. Hopefully with a new superintendent and excellent principal things will change.

    Hilltop is a fantastic school! We started our children at St. Joseph's school in Mendham because we wated the faith-based education, but we were shocked at how the school was run and how little "faith" and "education" existed in that school. We are so pleased we switched to Hilltop and our children are much happier. They earned straight As in both schools, but at Hilltop the atmosphere is warmer, friendlier, and the teachers are certified with education degrees (unlike St. Joe's, where many teachers are moms who are alternate route candidates). Hilltop provides an excellent eduaction that encourages kids and gets them excited about school. This is a great choice if you are moving to Mendham!

    Hilltop has a solid team of teachers and got a (much needed) new principal in 2011 who shows all the signs of being a great long term addition. The town values its schools, and is very active in supporting them.

    Excellent, dedicated teachers, great arts programs. Teachers readily available for extra help. Stong HSA (PTA) involvement.
