Best decision EVER! I can't believe we get to send our kids to Bradford Academy. We'll be there until our kids all graduate!

We are so grateful for this school! We were really worried about the decisions of schooling out there but once we found Bradford we knew we were in the best place possible for our family and most importantly our son. He is learning so well in a very positive loving environment. They have FUN, they sing, they play and they love God. All of the parents are your village and the staff are so supportive and helpful. The school communication is very strong, we get updates of behavior daily, we get school updates weekly, even updates on uniform sales. We couldn't be happier at Bradford.

This submission is meant for constructive criticism. The classical model is a good idea overall, but can be implied incorrectly. For example homework can be overbearing in multiple subjects. The Math program mainly use assigns thirty cognitive math questions with no time to do homework in class.

My daughter has learned more in one year at this school than in three years in a public school. This school is designed for children who want to excel academically. We do not attend the church in which the school is housed (Grace Reform Baptist) and that has never been an issue. My daughter has never ever expressed that she was scared that she may break a rule. There discipline systems is similar to that of the public schools. There is a clip that is moved from green (good), to yellow (warning), to red (no recess - visit principal). There is no over the top punishment but this school does require that students have respect for their elders and other children.

We attended this school for many years. Typical nights consisted of 5-6 hours of homework in elementary school. Learning was not fun or at all child focused. The school focuses heavily on literature with a very weak science curriculum. There are no computer classes and the school is very anti technology. The school is very militaristic and children are constantly afraid of doing something wrong and being punished harshly. The school is strongly influenced by Grace Reform Baptist Church despite being assured otherwise upon admission. The church houses the school and the headmaster is the pastor's son-in-law. There is no PTA and the board consists of 4 people who attend Grace Reform Baptist Church (one member has since left the church). Board meetings are closed and no one is allowed to sit on the board unless they attend Grace Reform. Children who do not attend the church are looked down upon and often left out. Teachers push Grace Reform Baptist doctrine in the classroom and outwardly pass judgement on other denominations. We were very disappointed in the lack of brotherly Christian love.

Our daughter has been attending Bradford for 4 years now, since kindergarten and it has been an absolute joy being part of the school. Bradford Academy is a place where I, my wife, and our daughter have found a family of supportive and loving friends that are dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge for the greatest purpose of all, the Glory of God. Bradford is what we want school to be for our child, a safe place free of so many of the distractions and temptations that so easily hinder a child's learning, a place where she is challenged to learn to her full potential, and where she is surrounded by talented and caring teachers who love God and love her and want more than anything else for her to honor God with her life. No parent could want more from a school than that. She has made so many dear friends and my wife and I have also grown very close to the families of not only our daughter's classmates but also many in the school. Bradford Academy is truly a wonderful school!

Our daughter has been at Bradford for 3 years and we have nothing but positive things to say about this school. A loving environment where teachers and students care for each other and a focus on academics makes this school stand out from all others!

We had our children in public school for many years prior to sending them to Bradford Academy in Mebane. Honestly, it is a sacrifice to send them here but it is worth everything we've had to give up and more. The staff is so supportive and loving and the style of learning is just what our family needed. So blessed by this school...there aren't words.

My daughter has been attention Bradford Academy for a couple of years, and our experience is that Bradford Academy's vision to instill a love of learning and thinking skills is truly remarkable! The teachers love their job, and the kids are learning so much! I love that they encourage the students to excel while at the same time encourage them when they struggle. One great plus I see about this school is that the classes are not overcrowded giving room for one-on-one attention. I do look forward to seeing the quality of students Bradford Academy will graduate in just a few years! My two other daughters will eventually also attend this school.
