Delone Catholic is not only a home away from home for me but a place I can use as an outlet. The teacher, staff, and students make Delone Catholic what it is. The teachers not only teach but genuinely care for your well-being. The sports programs are also nothing less than wonderful at Delone catholic. The couches and team building allow for a great environment.

Delone has been such a wonderful experience for me. The education is phenomenal and I have made so many lifelong friends. I'll definitely send my kids here if I have any.

Our journey with this school has been transformative for our son. We chose Delone not only for its strong academic reputation but for the values it instills—accountability, kindness, and community. In a world where being an outgoing and friendly teenager can sometimes be misunderstood by peers, this school has embraced who my son is and has kids to match his energy. He has found a space where his outgoing nature is valued, and he’s able to be a "big fish in a small pond," thriving in a more intimate, supportive environment. He’s included, encouraged, and appreciated for who he is, and that’s made all the difference. The school’s culture doesn’t tolerate meanness, and that has given him the confidence to be himself without fear of judgment. The teachers, coaches and support staff genuinely want these children to thrive and consistently offer their support.

Delone has taught me so many life lessons. My religious beliefs have grown stronger and I have grown closer to God through prayer. People are super inviting at Delone so it is easy to make friends. The teachers truly care about you not just as a student but a person. Since the class sizes are small it makes it easier to ask questions to teachers If you are struggling. You should consider going to Delone as your high school!

Delone Catholic is an excellent school where parents can send their students to a friendly, family based, Christian atmosphere where there is a place for everyone. The school has many activities, sports, and clubs that cater to a variety of students interest's. The teachers have an incredible devotion to their craft and in pushing students to excel at a higher academic level. I have had several students go through the school and still currently have children enrolled and would encourage anyone “on the fence” to reach out to the school to seek out options to help you become part of our welcoming community.

Students are not placed in academically correct courses. The admin and counselors do not have the know how to handle bullying. The “small town”‘influence is apparent - last names, status in the community, and connections to the school allow for students to get away with cheating, lying, and bullying. If you look into the school, ask questions- How does the school handle in schoolthreats and bullying? Howdoes the school handle bullying via social media orother means outside of school? How many students transfer out throughout and at the end of each year? We left this school and never looked back.

Delone is a blue-collar prep-school- an unusual combination of humble, hardworking spirit with solid intelligence and intellectual curiosity. The genuine kindness and can-do attitude of Delone students and other Delone community members is something you can't really find elsewhere.

1.) Our award letter and discounts that we were promised were not honored. Read carefully before you sign anything, our bad for not paying attention to the paperwork vs. what we were told verbally. 2.) When we brought our concerns to administration and/or staff, we were shuffled around to different people or received no response at all. The principal told us verbally he would help resolve our concerns but did not follow through. 3.) Accommodations were agreed upon but not upheld leaving my child to suffer through assignments/classes without agreed upon help. 4.) Exterior doors were removed from bathrooms, allowing clear view from the hallway to the urinals and cracks of the stalls. 5.) All but one of our children's teachers failed to communicate with parents when our children were struggling in a class. 6.) Through observation, it is my opinion that legacy students and students of staff receive more opportunities and more lenient treatment than others. 7.) Students are required to take Catholicism courses, however, my children were asked to stand aside during certain events because we are Christian, not Catholic. 8.) The school nurse is part time (only there certain days of the week) - my son went an entire school day with a broken finger from gym class, I did not find out about it until he came home from school that afternoon. The school counselor is also part time (only there certain days of the week).

Before you choose this school be sure to ask the adminstration how many teachers are new, returning or have been there for a length of time. Ask about their degrees, as many do not have them. Ask why they cant get subs and what the original class size was as freshman vs graduating seniors. You wil be shocked at the true answers. Delone provided an envrionment of harssment, bullying by teachers for the length of skirts or haircuts for the kids they did not favor. They cannot offer dual enrollment classes, tech school or sports recruiting. They a minor amount of advanced AP classes and have little knowledge beyond their D3 partner schools. The school is great if youre 100% catholic and want your child shown abortion videos in the 11th grade or need access to pro life rallies. The neighboring public schools are safe and better equipped to prepare your child for college.

Delone will not fail you if you are going for academics alone. If you are going to play baseball be prepared to be mentally abused by the coach who will not listen to his players and punishes them if their parents then speak up. he demoralizes players every chances he gets . It’s really sad 3 years ago when he took over the varsity team there were 19 players today 10 and he still can’t find a way to be fair only mentally abusive and demoralizing. Good luck to the baseball teams in the future

The leadership at Delone is below average since William Lippe, Principal took over. Lippe is considered soft, weak and unable to lead both the staff and students effectively. The Fall of 2023 saw 1/3 of the staff leave or retire due to the frustrations. The school is small and extremely clicky and unwelcoming. If you are an outsider you are not made to feel welcomed by the other parents or kids. Delone is considered a legacy school and priority is given to those legacy students and parents. Parents who do not get what they want bully and intimidate the staff and in return the staff bully the students with threats of detention for skirts too short, wearing the wrong shoes to school. The atmosphere is not welcoming, kind or inviting. Many of the seniors do not have fully direction of where they want to go to college or are encouraged to attend smaller D3 schools that the school has a link to.

As a freshman at Delone, I feel that I have learned faster here than I have in my previous years of school. The classes are great as well as the learning tactics and websites used by teachers. They have many options for classes such as woodshop, fashion design, art, home and family life skills, etc.

I am a recent graduate from Delone Catholic, and I am beyond grateful for the experiences that I had within the school. The preparation for college was excellent, and I am very happy with the staff and teachers and the services given. The only critique I have toward the school is that the teacher is most times believed over the student, which varied from situation to situation, but the great experiences I had far outweigh these few minor problems, as every school cannot be perfect.

Hi! I graduated from Delone in 2015 and I can honestly say I loved this school. Every teacher I had I loved, even if we always didn't see eye to eye. There isn't a teacher that I had I would ever say anything bad against. The faculty and staff truly care about the student and want to see them succeed. Having learning disabilities many times made school very hard for me, but each of my teachers motivated and worked with me to make sure I succeeded within the class room and outside. The homework and classes are rigorous, but it will prepare you for what you will face in college. When I graduated and went on to college I found that I adapted much quicker than some of my peers because what I had experienced at Delone. The experience and lessons I learned at Delone have also excelled me further in my corporate job as well. Delone will forever be apart of my success story. I wouldn't be where I am today without this school being my backing.

This school sucks , the punishments are so stupid its ridiculous , some teachers are nice but others are just rude and disrespectful, we can't even use the bathrooms. What if its a emergency? the food is so nasty..just overall this school sucks.

Some teachers use their power to intimidate students. Feedback from parents are not really welcome.

Hi! I used to attend Delone, and I would not recommend it to anyone else. The teachers are only okay when it comes to teaching the students, otherwise they are a little overrated. And yes their football team and some other sports are good, but thats really all they focus on. And the homework can be too much as well. Very abysmal homework schedule! It wasn't the best experience, but I wish I could go to another school to relive my high school experience properly. Save your money; find another school.

My son graduated from Delone Catholic and has felt far more prepared for his college classes than many of his college peers. My daughter is currently attending Delone and is also having a great experience. The smaller class sizes have been excellent for her and her teachers have been responsive when extra help has been needed. The selection of classes for a small school is impressive and both of my children have enjoyed different extracurricular activities. I would recommend Delone Catholic to families who are looking for high quality education anchored in strong Christian values.

Delone Catholic is a great school. My son loves the personal aspect of going to a smaller school. The teachers really care about how the kids are learning. My son has formed a lot of friendships with the other students. The students are taught to respect others and are being prepared for the rigors of college. I know with the classes he will have at Delone he will be prepared to enter college and excel.
