Good school overall. Like most schools it is experienced differently based on tracking. The higher classes have more motivated students who are well behaved and prepared for school. The students who are grouped in the weaker classes are more likely to learn less, have more behavior problems occur (but not violent), etc. Good special Ed program. More para educators are hired compared to most schools who are a valuable resource in the classroom. Foreign language program rather weak. School has a strong community atmosphere where all are included. School population increases every year with an influx from the neighboring state of Maryland.

The school overall is not very good. I was a student there for 2 years in 6th and 7th grade, and I was trying my hardest to get good test grades. Some teachers were nice and helped me when I needed it. Other times I had teachers who would not listen to me and would move along without me understanding. When Covid hit I was switched to working from home. The whole thing was a mess - I was falling behind in my studies while the teachers had no idea what they were doing. I ended up leaving EHMIS. I switched over to cyber school and I have been on their honor roll ever since I got there. Overall I would not recommend students going to this school.

I love this school. Not only have the teachers been excellent, but the school offers so many things to my child. I think it is so important for a child to be exposed to many things and this is the school that gives your child so many opportunities!

We are new to the Glenville P.A area, coming from the Roslyn School District on Long Island, New York. Our son entered the eighth grade at the Markle Intermediate School this September. The transition for our son went very smoothly because of the wonderful staff here at Markle Intermediate School. Our son is getting high 90's grades and the academics and the Intermurials are wonderful. Our son Robert always has positive feedback when he comes home from school and looks very foward attending school. As a parent it has been such a positive experience. I can't thank the staff enough for making this possible and for the wonderful educators that they are. As a parent this is what we look for and we have peace of mind and no doubt that we chose such a great school district for our son to attend.
