My daughter has been at Elliott from kindergarten to fourth grade. She loves her school. We’ve had only positive experiences with the teachers, office staff and principal, and crossing guards.

This is a dangerous school in many ways. Watch the staff they are very calculated. This school support teacher bullying and will cover it up. The staff has it out to destroy a collective group of kids. The staff “curriculum” is a setup for failure. The staff will do anything to destroys a collective group of people families. Their academic scores are very low in reading, math, and writing. I highly recommend do not send your kid to this school if you want them to have a chance of learning. The school staff creates a hostile environment. The staff is very dishonest.

We LOVE Elliot! This is our second year at this school and I am beyond satisfied. Dr. Miller is amazing. The staff is awesome! My child is doing phenomenal academically. I recommend Elliott. I don’t think the score on this site accurately reflects this school.

This school is terrible. The cursing, the bullying, the fighting, and the overall disrespect are out of control. The principal is incompetent to make learning environment better and the discipline student.

We love Elliott Elementary! The principal and staff invest so much of themselves to students and their growth! Our daughter is just finishing up 2nd grade and I am so thankful that her teacher this year has been just as strong as an advocate for her learning as we have!

This is our 7th year at Elliott Elementary between our three children. No school is perfect but the principal here is absolutely wonderful and she does her best to know every single student by name and to encourage them and motivate them. The grades are divided into houses with a hallway being K-5 so all grade levels are grouped together. Some aren't comfortable with this but I do think it creates leadership opportunities for older kids which help them when moving on to middle school. We have been very pleased. There has been a bit of increase in bullying lately but I don't think that is the fault of the school. A lot of that is due to kids in general these days and when I have had a concern, the school dealt with it effectively.

My son has been going to Elliot since 2nd grade. He is now a 5th grader here. They have made some major changes for the better not that it was bad to begin with! My son hit some difficulties in 3rd grade with confidence that turned into behavioral issues and sad to say depression...and when i say WE ALL rallied around my son to help him..>NEW PRINCIPAL INCLUDED. I don't know where my family would be without their CONSTANT support, genuine love and care, and ...and ...and...The next year they made major changes to how they handled teacher, parent communication because my son receiving "bad notes" in his binder while we were struggling sure didn't help to say the least. I don't think that they made those changes just for my son...But i truly do believe that they sat down as a team of caring professionals, looked at the situation and said lets try something different for ALL the kids to help prevent similar situations! I am so grateful to them for being so darn awesome!! And that's not to even mention how much effort they put into teaching our kids and making it fun and inspiring for the students. as well as getting us parents involved. I know this is long but i can't speak highly enough about the staff here. I'M SO HURT WE HAVE TO LEAVE NEXT YEAR :( we don't want to grow up!! lol But they have defiantly set the bar high and have laid a great foundation for my son and our little family.

Most welcoming! We were invited to have lunch with our grandson in the cafeteria. We witnessed a positive, highly motivating environment for happy, engaged students. Parents are involved, visible, supportive, and active. We look forward to many years of learning and growth.

Worse school EVER! Don't bother taking your kids to this school. They have teachers tha bully kids and the principal doesn't do anything about it. They don't care about their students.

I have 2 kids at Elliott and I they always had well prepared teachers, who were really supportive and helped them through their difficulties. Parents can easily communicate with teachers for questions. The principal and assistant principal are always there for parents and kids, greeting everyone and encouraging kids through their support.

Elliott is a great school. I have two children here and the teachers are very dedicated and very talented. Elliott lost 300-400 students when Comstock opened (no new students to take their place).....common sense tells that the same number of teachers are not needed.

We did not like this school. Too much emphasis on standardized testing. Too much favoritism towards kids who have moms in the upper echelon of the PTA. Unsafe release procedures. Tracking for ESL and allergies. We did one year here and bolted for private school. I almost didn't make it through the whole year. Many of the best teachers left when the new school opened nearby. You are better off with some of the other nearby elementary schools.

No matter where you go, teachers are paid to teach to a test. That gives any school a mark against it. Elliot is a great school with friendly staff. I have a problem with ALL public schools in TX who are so quick to label a student learning disabled or autistic or ADHD because the sit in your seat all day learning style does not match each student. I ended up pulling my son out of Elliott mid-year kindergarten and we homeschool. Most families in Brookstone love Elliott, but if you have a student who is a hands on learner, you may want to consider the charter school or homeschooling.

This our second years and I am so happy to have our daughter goes into this school. The kindergarten and first grade all nice and wonderful teachers. They always smile and I can see the result of teaching. The principal Mrs. Stacy Mills has very good and excellent leadership and see her many times helping staffs! We are happy to be part of this school!
