School has no due process and targets children with disabilities. My children used to love school but dread having to go now. The principal is non responsive as well and pushed issues off onto the Social worker with absolutely no follow up. My son also had an ice chunk thrown at his face but due to lack of supervision went all day with a huge bruise on his cheek and concussion without me being contacted at all. Go to Paw Paw instead of you are considering between the two.

My son is always happy to go to school

Average at best. My son has been getting reading and math instruction since he was a baby. We have seen him stagnate in Mattawan Early Elementary, reading below level despite our after school support. There is no homework and we receive hourly progress reports on behaviour through the Dojo app, which might be better spent time on the kids. I'm blown away by the lax attitude and lack of progress which I see from his peers at other schools. My background is in education, I'm sad to say that it does not meet my standards.

We came to this school after being in an curriculum that provided a 4:1 student to teach ratio for our son. Understandably we were concerned that he might lose the trajectory that this unique opportunity provided. Not the case at all. Our son's teacher recognized his ability and provided one-on-one opportunities to assess, stretch, and identify a personalized plan for learning. The teachers are kind and invested in each of their students. The playground is also the most incredible imagination builder I have ever seen!
