    We LOVE Tomahawk! Mr. Ackerman is THE BEST principal. He really cares for his students and it shows!!!

    The school looks great on paper, but in reality is not nearly as good as it seems. Teachers have cliques and the principals really pick favorites. Would not recommend working here, but for students its alright.

    This school is supposed to be a great school, but it has been a terrible experience for my child who is now in the upper grades. My child has had teachers every year who have been absent for 15-20 days each year. She cannot write a complete sentence, or spell however she has A's in every subject. The administration does not listen or take action to create a better educational environment. My child rarely does any projects and her social studies learning consists of an SOL page printed from the internet. In music she watches videos all the time and hasn't learned anything. This school is a disgrace to education (and I am a teacher!). I wish I had never sent my child here.
