Only had my son in this school for a couple of months before pulling him out. Neglected to put him on bus, put his desk in a corner for the first month of school because he has ADHD and didn't know how to handle him. No one on one. Also very hard to get in touch with principal.

I have had children at TJES since 2007. In those ten years I have had three children graduate. They all had wonderful experiences with teachers who genuinely loved and encouraged them. The atmosphere at TJ is friendly and welcoming. We now have two special needs children attending TJ and the time and energy put into their IEP's, the dedication on a daily basis to meet their needs, and the genuinely loving support of the teachers and staff has truly blown me away. I love this school!

Thomas Jefferson Elementary School is a wonderful school. I have two children who have successfully completed their elementary education at TJES. We could not be happier with the teaching staff, management and implementation of the curriculum and overall daily operation of the school. My children were not only prepared for the middle school, they were ahead in the pretesting knowledge in many subjects. The leadership and parent involvement in the school helps create a nurturing and successful learning environment.

The entire staff is committed to educating our children in a fun environment. Despite the recent budget cuts, we don't see any lack of determination by the teachers to give the kids a phenomenal education experience!
