Nominally Christian at best, no real Christian principles, quite the contrary, the hypocrisy is rampant. Children not in the upper echelon and children from middle class families are treated far differently, even the teachers and administrators bully children, yelling "I can't hear you" as the child is attempting to present in class, causing the children to erupt in laughter ostracizing the demure child (this is just one of many examples); teachers are inappropriate with children and administrators do nothing to remedy this. The environment is nepotistic and toxic and longtime families are leaving in droves as a result, some midway through the year as their children have been in dire shape emotionally as a result of the extreme emotional and spiritual abuse. My children attended throughout their entire education and the environment and overall educational experience has got progressively worse to the point of children actively refusing to attend school. They lack compassion and mistreat children with disabilities and mental health challenges and chastise children and parents who attempt to advocate for them. They have limited resources to serve these children. Several beloved special teachers have left as a result of they themselves being mistreated by the administration. Some of these individuals, are unjustly fired or have disappeared in the middle of the school year with no explanation or opportunity to say goodbye to the children simply because they spoke up against these atrocities (there are a least a dozen I can think of). The teachers and staff do not have appropriate degrees or training, they very much beat to their own drum and many bright students who leave the school are left back as a result of the poor education. The grading and discipline is harsh and unfair teachers have little patience/are not encouraging to children who require additional assistance. My children and children of my longtime friends have come home crying, some adolescents are even suicidal and seem to thrive after leaving the toxicity. There are virtually no dual enrollment college prep opportunities, no opportunities to serve the community (they perpetuate egocentrism); the one serv-a-thon they have is a one-day event and essentially the children raise money for financial assistance, they offer this (which the kids essentially earn themselves) to be able to obtain funding from the state. Please save yourself and your children years of emotional and spiritual abuse.
