Our Kindergartener and 3rd grader both attend Lyman Elementary. When our 3rd grader was ready to enroll in Kindergarten, we chose to enroll him at Lyman rather than Concrete, which was in our district. We couldn't be happier with that decision. Lyman Elementary is a solid representation of a small, tight - knit, community - driven school. The staff and administration are local and committed. They take pride in the accolades that Lyman has received (School of Distinction for 3 years running), and their commitment to uphold that standing is evident in their every day activities. The students, small, tall, big, little, black, white, young and old are genuinely happy, and that is very clear when a person strolls through the halls. Parent volunteers are willing and plentiful. We LOVE this school and are proud to call it ours.

lyman school is awesome. You have a small community with only a handful of teachers and they all give there best to each child my daughter has been going there for more than 3yr. She loves the school. We recently went through some changes and are now part of the McKinney vinto act my child travels to Lyman daily, the school has been accomodating and understanding to our needs. The teachers go out of there way to help her stay on task. Thank you Lyman I will not be so happy when I HAVE to move her to this new school district. You all are great and I wish that there were more school's like yours.
