    I like my teachers they are ohh so sweet and very funny! And i appreciate their efforts!

    RK Smith is a very good school with dedicated teachers. My daughter is in her first year here and came from private school. I find the teachers do a very good job at preparing the children and challenge them every day. Discipline I think could be a little stricter. While I understand private and public school are different, basic respect for teachers and each other should be demanded more often The school alone cannot do this without parental guidance and involvement but I also believe you will find this at other schools as well.. I also know several people who are in the school district but send their children to other public schools in the parish out of the district which I believe the school board should take a closer look at why this is being allowed. I believe my daughter will get a wonderful education here and will be prepared for High School and the world because of the caring people at this school.
