LUDLOW GRADE SCHOOL IS A SMALL TOWN SCHOOL THAT HAS BEEN AROUND FOR MANY YEARS. I AM THE COOK AT THE SCHOOL AND A FORMER STUDENT, AS WELL AS MY SON AND DAUGHTER. IT S A SMALL SCHOOL OF APPROXIMATLEY 70 TO 100 STUDENTS AND 15 STAFF MEMEBERS. THE GREAT THING ABOUT LUDLOW IS THE ONE ON ONE; THE CHILDREN RECEIVE DUE TO THE LOW AMOUNT OF CHILDREN IN ATTENDANCE. THE STAFF AND FACULTY ARE VERY CLOSE LIKE A FAMILY AND ALL WORK TOGETHER TO PROVIDE THE BEST EDUCATION AND GROWTH SKILLS POSSIBLE FOR THE KIDS. LUDLOW IS ON A VERY TIGHT BUDGET AND WOULD BENEFIT FROM THIS $5000 EMENSLEY. WE NEED NEW SPORTS EQUIPMENT AND MORE UPDATED EDUCATIONAL TOOLS TO BETTER ASSIST THE CHILDREN AS THEY LEARN. PLEASE CONSIDER OUR SCHOOL FOR THE PRIZE IT WOULD BE PUT TO GREAT USE :)

My 4 children attended Ludlow Elementary. I will say that the educational program, the teachers & staff are excellent. All of my children excelled there, in high school, & went on to college. Children excel when parents are engaged in their learning and support their child's school. The small number of students limits extra curricular activities ie sports, band, etc. But you will not find the educational programming lacking. An increase in enrollment would help to provide the extra curricular. The teachers are younger, bright, skilled in grant writing & technology as well as teaching. The teachers were mapping curriculum before most schools in our area. The administration & staff are student/family oriented. The building is very clean, well maintained; computers & smart boards in every classroom; new stainless steel kitchen; plans in near future include energy efficient upgrades.
