Whiteside Is such a wonderful school!! My kids have always loved going to school here. I have 4 kids that are in school but three of them have already grown out of Whiteside. My three older kids say all the time how they miss going to school here and my little 3rd grader absolutely loves going to school everyday. The teachers and staff are wonderful people. One of my kids has ADHD and all the teachers were great with him. The teachers here have always been wonderful over the years we have spent at Whiteside. We love Whiteside!! Go Warriors!!

My kid is now in third grade. We are shifted from big city to Lubbock when she was in first grade, but we found this school better than that of big city public schools. Teachers and staffs are very cooperative.

If your kids have a learning disability DO NOT send them here!The teachers in kinder, second, third and fourth are amazing and will help your child, even go above and beyond for them. But, the counselor will not help with 504, or allow it (even with outside proof). I have one dyslexic child and one dysgraphia child, neither get help because they have "too high of grades". If your child is normal (not advanced) then this is a great school, but if they are GT or have a disability I recommend another school. Save yourself the headache

My child has been at Whiteside Elementary since Kindergarten. We are transfers and we are so happy with our decision to stay at Whiteside. My child has been thriving and has had her best year yet now that she is in 5th grade. Mrs. Alexander and Mrs. Harris are both very easy to talk to and are committed to providing an excellent education to all of our children. Mrs. Alexander has also brought a lot of value added programs to our school, such as robotics and UIL. This is a great school and I am thankful that we have had the opportunity to spend the last six years here.

White side is not a good school. The teachers are too hard to work with. They are always trying to medicate students with the purpose of receiving additional funding from the government. They treat minority children poorly. I would hate to be a parent of a minority child attending this school.
