Every school has its problems especially with lower income schools. Lincoln does a great job with kids in spite of the fact that so many are from disadvantaged home settings.

We choose to go to Lincoln! We live in Weld County, and have opted into this school. The teachers and staff work very hard to create an environment that helps each individual child thrive to their highest potential. Smaller class sizes give a more family like atmosphere, giving students and parents the ability to know the teacher. Test scores may be important to some people, but I believe they may be misleading when representing this school. I have never felt more at home than I do with my Lincoln Leopard Family.

The building may be old but there is no lack of space. The open concept of the classrooms, I find, is helpful in allowing the pushing-in of specialized staff and volunteers with no disruption to the class flow. It creates a family/home like atmosphere and affords a dynamic learning environment when classes can be joined or separated by simply moving a wall. The staff is an incredible group of educators who truly care for each student. The principle, Mrs. Malvey, is a brilliant administrator, extremely proactive in improvement and she acknowledges the great importance of emotional wellbeing in education. I have a bright 1st grader who struggles with attention and focus. His current and previous teachers are proactive in helping him achieve his full potential even though it takes a TON of extra attention from them. And as a classroom volunteer, I see that this kind of invidiualized attention is graciously given to each student according to their needs. The entire staff work together as a team, they support each other and are continually involved beyond the classroom. New extra curricular activities are being created and introduced often because they all desire MORE for their school. The special needs population of the school is also cared for with great attention to growth, not just sustaining. Most of all, I love this school because the staff knows the students and the students know the staff, not just their own teachers. This holds accountability to a high standard and each student/parent can feel welcomed like a part of a family.

Lincoln elementary is an amazing school filled with dedicated teachers and staff. Lincoln has worked so hard to meet the needs of each and every student while building relationships not only with the students, but also the community around us. Lincoln teaches social/emotional health which is so vital for our students to learn in today's world. I'm proud to be a Lincoln Leopard!

We do not live within the Lincoln boundaries, but we choose to opt our children into the school. The teachers are responsive and attentive to the children and families. They are also committed to implementing a meaningful and challenging curriculum. I am thoroughly impressed with them all. The principal's dedication to the school cannot be overstated. She is amazing at working to build community and actively seeks out parental involvement in important decision making. Visit the school and you will see the sense of community that cannot be measured on any test.

Do not let the low rating mislead you; Lincoln is a wonderful school! The staff is AMAZING! My child is challenged and learning things I could not even imagine at such a young age. Mrs. Malvey has taken this school to new levels and the teachers are genuinely dedicated to the success of each student. Lincoln's community is united and focused on constant improvements. I look forward to being a part of this school for years to come!

Lincoln is making significant changes for the better in order to better help our kids. This year we implemented chess club, tutoring, reading interventions, P.E. after school enrichment (intramurals), bell choir, and other extra help/activities. They have also started offering before school breakfast for every single student (free of charge). I know that this is extra important to me because it has helped me financially. We even had a literacy carnival night the other night that was AMAZING! Thanks Lincoln for everything!

The size of this school is awesome, not too large and all the teachers are so compassionate and helpful. I like the school sprit that is shown as you walk the halls. I am glad that my grandchildren have a local neighborhood school with such pride and ownership in their school. I am certain that they will get the best possible education by attending this school.

Lincoln elementary is a great school! Mrs. Malvey, the principal, is AWESOME! The staff and teachers I have met so far are awesome as well! Along with the PTO! The school is older, but I don't feel that affects a child's learning. I think it is the teachers, staff, principals and parents that make all the difference and there are plenty of great ones here!!

I have had four children make their way through Lincoln Elementary and have always been an active volunteer. I love this school, it has a family feel and is a fun community focused neighborhood school. This is rare these days, with the specialization of schools at the elementary level, I feel that you lose the fun in school. But I'm proud that Lincoln is a well rounded school and strives every year to embrace and reflect the community in which it lives.

Lincoln has excellent, caring teachers and staff. Mrs. Malvey is an amazing, positive, and supportive principal. The school staff encourages the students on a daily basis, encouraging, recognizing, and rewarding S.P.O.T. behavior.
