Horrible school!! Horrible management!! The only thing that concern them is how much can you pay and donate ! Every other child is with a SHADOW !!!For god sake if you can not handle kids who are simply kids they close the school and go home!!! They complain about every and tiny things that NORMAL kids doing! And if your child is not like a soldier than he needs a SHADOW !! If your child has troubles reading, he needs a SHADOW ! If your child has troubles in math he needs SHADOW !! All they are looking for are babysitters to do their job!!! I met with so many families who took out their kids just for the fact school was asking them for a SHADOW and gave them an ultimatum if no SHADOW no school. And by the way, I really think something is very fishy with that matter, almost all the SHADOWS working in the same company...if their another business this school is doing on the account of our kids ?! (By the way, i can guarantee after my review somehow going to "pup up" few good reviews, Alvira from school is putting those fake reviews to make sure the bad reviews will go on the bottom...)

Academic and classroom management challenges. Bullying is tolerated so as to not offend the bully’s family. Classroom disruptions are also unchallenged for the same reasons. We were there for 3 years and all 3 teachers told me (and other parents) that the administration does not support their efforts, that they are unable to send children to the principal’s office or rely on the administration to engage parents to partner with them so the teacher can teach. Most teachers are not credentialed; while there I had several Board members tell me, “Kadima has never been known for being academically focused," or "the kids at Kadima won't be the next Einstein". We finally left after my kiddo tested under grade level -- which they didn't tell me until 2 weeks before school ended. Two report cards (Kadima does 3 per year) without one mention of my daughter needing help with reading or math (Kadima doesn't teach science in 3rd). In fact, the administration tried to hide the learning loss -- my daughter wasn't the only 3rd grader who needed tutoring over the summer to catch up — by cancelling the state testing. In the 3 years we were there we had different 3 principals. It is a wonderful school if you are looking to be in an environment with Israeli families (majority). And from what I understand, the ECEC is pretty good.

It’s my first year at Kadima with two of my girls and I am very happy. The ECEC director and teachers are absolutely great! With every question or concern we had they have been very willing to help and there for us. The school is one big community which is very important to us. I highly recommend this school.

I've been at the school for a solid 6 years now. Can you believe it? And get this, I have not one, not two, but a whopping 4 kids attending the same school! Talk about a full house, huh? Let me just say, I cannot stress enough how much I genuinely believe that enrolling my kids here was the absolute best decision I could have made. From the top-notch education they receive to the amazing sense of community and social connections they've formed, it's been an all-around win-win situation. Trust me, if you're looking to make a decision that will truly impact your children's lives in the most positive way, you won't regret choosing this school. It's a no-brainer!

We love Kadima! Our son attened the Middle school and had a great time. He made so many new friends and learned a lot. The community feels like a family and the Jewish environment makes us feel at home. Highly recommend!

BEWARE !!! BEWARE !!! THERE'S SOMETHING GOING ON WITH THIS SCHOOL AND IT IS NOT GOOD.Teachers are leaving, quitting throughout all year long , Principal being replaced each year! This is the 3rd year for my daughter and each year Is a mess with teachers being replace and a new principal. WHY NO ONE STAYS ?There are so many kids with a SHADOW and under the PILL that makes me think what is going on with this school ! Why so many kids needs a SHADOW or to take "THE PILL" ? Are teachers not able to handle kids ?Substitute teachers becoming teachers when they have no credentials since the qualified teachers are quitting! WHAT IS GOING ON ?Academically school is not doing well, comparing it with other school curriculum and other student education Kadima is little behind. WHY ?School fee this year went up significantly which doesn't make any sense, school doesn't provide anything to the kids, we buy all necessary material and I'm sending lunch each day. I am moving my daughter to a different school, where I met the principal and teachers, where I met other students and parents and it feels much more healthy in all ways.

Our daughter is in the ECEC and we couldn’t be happier with the school. Every teacher and faculty we’ve come across is so helpful and warm and our daughter is thriving. There is weekly Hebrew and music class, lots of extra curricular activities to select from and regular special events for families to participate and feel connected to the school.

Kadima Day School of West Hills has gone against every principle and tradition they claim to observe by shamelessly declining admission to my son. My son is an amazing 11 year old who excels in academics. He is gregarious, warm, loving, super talented and wanted nothing more than to get an education at their religious school. The school repeatedly stated that they could not meet his needs. THEIR WORDS. WHAT NEEDS??? They stated that they fear he will struggle in their school. WHAT???HOW DARE THEY??? They turned down a perfectly healthy, bright, and wonderful child that is striving and yearning for religious learning. THIS IS NOT THE WAY. They are so wrong and on so many levels. Then they pray and hold themselves as holy. They have violated the most holy of traditions by telling a young child that he cannot attend their school instead of embracing and welcoming that child.Anyone that reads this review and still wants to attend and participate in this clearly hypocritical "school" which claims to uphold certain traditions but wrongly denies a child the learning that child desired and needed, is an equal partner in this "school"'s act of wrongdoing.Kadima Day School has acted in an absolutely disgusting and revolting way.

Very positive. Kadima has a diverse and highly skilled teaching staff. Its commitment to providing students a balanced education is refreshing.

We have been part of the Kadima family in the last few years and this is a perfect opportunity for me to recognize a top notch staff, faculty and admin. Kadima provides a perfect combination of academic achievements, social and emotional setting, as well as Jewish education. Kadima is not only a school, it's a Family!

I loved that school so much. Both my son and daughter went there K-8. The teachers were amazing and my kids made so many friends that they still hang out with. Thank you Kadima, you will always be in my heart.

My two boys attended Kadima's preschool from age 2 until 5, and they had a wonderful experience. They were genuinely cared for, nurtured and encouraged to develop a love of learning. They were treated as whole individuals, and the play-based curriculum was infused with Jewish traditions and values, along with a love of Israeli culture. Excellent teachers, every single one of them. And Randi, the director of the preschool, is just a treasure.

Both my boys went to this school. One was OK but the other had some social problems. He was bullied by some children in his class. Instead of helping him dealing with the situation by giving him tools to use in the future, the teacher and the director of the ECEC (Randy) made just sent him out of the classroom every time he cried or had a behavior issue. My son never had behavior issues before, and since. However, he was marked as problematic at Kadima since he did not fit the exact behavior codes that they expected of him. What they did not know is that he was in a stressful situation and did not know how to overcome the bullying. I pulled both my sons out of this school and got them in a different place where they are super happy and confident in themselves again (which they both lost at Kadima). I will not recommend the ECEC in Kadia to anyone! I don't know about the school though... Think twice before considering the ECEC at Kadima! They care about the money you pay more than the children and it is shown in every aspect of the way they run that place.

My children are educated at the highest of academic standards and in that regard Kadima is a great school. But, it is much more than that as well - it is a strong community where all the teachers in all the grades know who my children are by name, where small class size ensures that they are learning concepts and thinking critically, and where the community takes care of itself in times of need. There is warmth and care in the halls but also an expectation to succeed in many subject areas and be enriched by a dual curriculum that also embraces technology and the arts.

We have had our children enrolled in day school since pre-K, and would not have changed had we not moved. ENROLL AT KADIMA!!! Do it now - it is a gem. Within one month, the school UNDERSTOOD our children, not just as students but as individuals. Perhaps the best way to sum it up is to share my experience as a parent chaperone on a week long 7th grade trip to the Sierras. It was a PACKED, 24-7 week in physical circumstances that were rustic; a great opportunity to see how the kids "really" are, even when stretched. The comraderie, and yes, even empathy shown by each child TO A PERSON was like nothing I've ever seen. Kadima is a school where children are not only taught; they are in an environment that manages to create human beings who treat each other better as 7th graders than many adults.
