Our son has attended Holy Trinity since Kindergarten. His teachers have been kind, supportive and engaging. He enjoys going to school, has a great group of buddies and also enjoys the before and after care.

Overall the experience was not a good one. There are some decent families who send their kids here, but overall the principal and teachers are awful and it's not worth the tuition.

I would give them 0 stars if I could and they need a new principal that actually cares about the students and the families that attend the school .

Awful experience with a teacher that bullied my child. Pulled my younger one out to public school, so glad I did.

Holy Trinity is the best Catholic school in San Pedro. From our experience in attending both schools in San Pedro, you will receive a better education and it's athletic program is outstanding. The principal at Holy Trinity runs the school very well. There is so much parent involvement which helps the school run smoothly. Now, I understand why this school has a higher enrollment than any other Catholic school in San Pedro. My children are happy in this school and wished they came here since Pre-School. This is the Catholic School to attend.

I have three kids at Holy Trinity School. Sending my kids to HT is simply the best decision I have ever made. The teachers are 100% dedicated and committed to the interest of the students and the Catholic environment sets a culture for learning and faith. The extra-curricular programs are incomparable to the local public schools: 22 sports teams competing in the CYO; lego league, robotics, choir etc. etc. etc. There is something for everyone.

As a former student of Holy Trinity that joined the school for 6-8th grade, I can say that the school was a very fun experience for me. I was welcomed very kindly and I made very good friendships there. The sports program is mediocre and it is mostly for messing around and it will not shape you to become a scholarship athlete. I know people who have left because they felt bullied but I never had that issue. The teachers were all very helpful but I'm not sure if the academics from HT are helping me in high school. It's a good choice as a school in Pedro but there aren't that many choices to choose from. This is only from my middle school experience but I can say that as someone who hasn't been attending since kindergarten, I sometimes felt left out because those kids were so close knit. The students who were bullied were mostly ones that came during the middle of the school year or after 6th or 7th grade.

I am a former student at HT. Let me tell you, I am having trouble catching up to high school math, so really HT didn't help me too much. The teachers are VERY quick to judge and favor some students over others. There is also a lot of cursing that goes on, which is really strange since I thought it was catholic. There aren't many male teachers, so of course, most teachers are going to treat girls like gold, and boys like trash. I like the music program, though, and I enjoy the athletics. If they just got some new blood in there (new teachers, maybe new principal) then it would be really refreshing. I wasn't really a fan, personally.

I attended Holy Trinity School from K through 8th grade. Through all 9 years of attendance, I was educated by strong, wonderful teachers who guided me and shaped me into the person that I am today. I am proud, and fortunate to say that I am now a teacher at Holy Trinity. The staff members, some of who were teachers when I was a student, as well as the many new teachers, are all outstanding, well qualified educators who have all welcomed me with open arms. It is comforting to be employed at a place that feels like home :)

I attended Holy Trinity School from Kindergarten through 8th grade. Holy Trinity was, and still is, and amazing school that gave me the skills I needed to be successful in furthering my education and skills that I can use throughout my life. This school has always felt like a home to me, and the staff and faculty have always made me feel welcome. I have been so blessed because now I work here as a teacher and I could not be happier. My experience teaching here has been nothing but a positive one, and I have my fellow faculty members and the loving families at Holy Trinity to thank for that. I truly feel that Holy Trinity is an amazing school with so much to offer.

Holy Trinity offers our children a Catholic faith environment to learn each day. Daily lessons and routines reinforce the skills every student needs to practice to be a skilled life-long learner. In a period of time where most schools lack the funds to support foreign language classes, music, and a hands-on science curriculum, Holy Trinity has always made teaching children the priority and makes accommodations outside of cutting curriculum to keep students on course. Holy Trinity realizes the potential of every student and the need for rigorous coursework and quality instruction in order to think critically and solve problems. The school offers many, many choices for extra curricular activities to give our children exposure to sports, theater, and music. We appreciate the investment the school has in our children, inspiring what they believe are the future leaders of our world.

Our experience at Holy Trinity has been very positive. Our child entered kindergarten last year, and is now in the 1st grade. I can honestly say our kindergarten year was fantastic. I couldn't have asked for anything more from the teachers and their classroom assistants. The curriculum was excellent, and our child was well prepared for 1st grade. In addition to the solid subject courses, our child receives the benefit of taking music classes, Spanish, and working daily in a computer lab, where he is thriving at writing and sharpening his computer skills. Holy Trinity offers a caring and positive environment for our child to learn and grow, while also instilling strong moral and spiritual values. The monthly school masses are fantastic, where the children are heavily engaged in the ceremony, creating a great sense of unity and pride. Its an overall, wonderful experience.

Holy Trinity is a great school. My boys have been attending HT since 2000. I have never had a problem here. The teachers and staff are warm and friendly. The principal is always positive and willing to listen to suggestions. Following the current trand in technology the school recently installed Interactive white boards in most classrooms and are currently installing more. Soon all classes will have them. I'm proud to say my children attend Holy Trinity school and Parish.

I move here 2 years ago and i was lookig for school for my 3 kids, i entroll my oldest one at Holy Tinity and my other 2 in the Public School after 1 year i decided to put all of them in HT, Holy Trinity had everything you could want in a school. Great academics, and always are looking for better improvement, caring teachers, They encourage participation of family members and treat children very well. The school is run like a well oiled machine and the principal makes it her life to be there. Her name is on everything, which shows the responsibility she takes for Holy Trinity and the pride. Like every school, there will be people who like that and ones that dont. Every school has goods and bads, but Holy Trinity has so few bads that I can't even think of one. We move here 2 years ago and i was looking for a

I joined Holy Trinity in 2009 and it has been a wonderful experience for not only our kids but our family as well. Academically, the school does a great job challenging the kids and they offer new things every year. For example, Spanish classes were added this year to all grade levels. The community at Holy Trinity has a great bond and treats everyone like family. Thank you to our Principal and her hardworking staff for the time and effort they put in giving our children the education and moral they need to succeed in life!

Holy Trinity is a mediocre school, with a math and reading curriculum that is one year behind the local private and public schools in the Palos Verdes area. If you want your child to be a physical laborer, than this is the school for you. However, if you have aspirations for your child to attend the UC or Ivy League college, than you should look into other local schools that are outperforming Holy Trinity in ITBS testing and high school entrance exams. Familial connections run deep at this school, and if you do not have any, your concerns and observations will be listened to but not acted upon. For example, if you have familial connections, you will be able to place your child with a teacher than you feel is best suited for your child. Most, if not all of the positive reviews written below, were posted on this website at the request of the principal to better market the school.
