Vigorous academics, nurturing environment, and a biblical, classical focus that have tremendously blessed our family and four children. A true preparatory academy, preparing students for life, college, career and beyond. A full development of the individual child to blossom into all God created him or her to be.

My son enjoyed Smith Prep. He graduated with honors and was accepted into several very good colleges.

Our two youngest children each completed six years at Smith Prep and both are now excelling in college. Smith Prep's program and teachers not only challenged them as Christian students and believers, but it also prepared them for life after Smith Prep. Although this type of program may not be for everyone, parents who are willing to partner with Smith Prep in the home education of their children will be very satisfied in the fruit of their, and their child's , labor. Highly recommended to those who want to see their student succeed in a challenging program.

Smith Prep is a great school - great academics, great community and Christ filled education. In my opinion, it is a level above most Christian schools in its academic prowess and Biblical teaching. My child attends the lower school and the format of two days of school, plus three at home doing the work together is a perfect mix.

Exceptional expectations of the students as well as the faculty. There is a level of mutual respect between student and teacher that is not found in most schools. The content, discussions, and instructional materials are truly preparing my students for college as well as the real world, helping my kids to think for themselves as well as articulate their thoughts into active voices that will have a positive impact on our community. This school has come alongside us parents to help mold our children into dependable, trustworthy, respectable, contributing members of society - something this country sorely needs…

Excellent teaching and perfect classroom environment.My oldest son has been there almost 3 years in their high school program. Smith Prep has helped him mature so much both spiritually and mentally.

LOVE this school!! My family has been a Smith Prep family since my daughter started 8th grade. Since then I have heard Smith Prep referred to as a "honors" program by outsiders, with a LOT of reading and writing, as compared to other academic programs like them. Not for everyone. BUT my kids (my son started this year) are flourishing under the AWESOME staff and I wouldn't change a thing! I especially love the fact that there is a Bible class, as well as critical thinking and speech/debate, as part of the curriculum every year...things that are optional at other schools. The teachers are amazing, the school staff is so wonderful to work with....just a great place overall.
