This Is A Rewrite Of The Review I Just Posted. This Is A More Detailed Review. I Was A Student At This School In My Freshman Year. My Biggest Problem With This School Was The Bullying And How The Staff Handled It. They Didn't. Us As Students Had To Handle It Ourselves. The Teachers While Not Making These Statements Themselves Allowed Homophobic Slurs In Class As Well As Other Forms Of Discrimination And Bullying. I Had To Deal With Some Of It Myself By Threatening Bullies With Physical Force. That Was The Only Way To Get Them To Stop For About A Few Weeks. And Now That I'm Gone I'm Hearing From My Friends It's Gotten Worse. Now There's Rumors Galore And Death Threats And Etc. One Of The Students Showed My Best Friend A Gore Video In The Middle Of Class And Got Not Even A Slap On The Wrist. My Friends Have Gotten Depressed. They Dread Going To This School And I Did Too. Someone Needs To Step Up SOON. Teens Kill Themselves Because Of Places Like This.

We put our daughter into this school because we heard it was a very good school district. Last year we had an issue with one teacher and this year we have some issues with another. I feel that the Principle protects the teachers and this is why one particular teacher still teaches at the school although many complaints have be given that he makes the students, mainly females, feel uncomfortable around him. He states that he isn't a teacher but he is a "mentor". I believe this is the wrong field for him if he doesn't want to teach. I am unsure if the school with brush this under the rug so I will be contacting other people to make sure something happens.

Superb academics and a great extracurricular activities program. Very welcoming and friendly for all new students. No. 2 academic scores in the state and not far from No. 1 by only a few percentage points. Academic programs are very rigorous, lots of ap classes in all disciplines and very competitive sports programs. Seems to have extracurriculars for just about every type of interest as well as some different science disciplines(marine science/zoology, etc.)

Even though I ask for help, I mostly get promises, they would rather blame child than take actions.
